This is a pretty good sized light. It seems easy enough to install, but involves connecting wires to existing wires in the ceiling and so I'm waiting to get my guy to install. I will update this review when we get it installed.

The media could not be loaded. I mean, wow! Right off the bat! Normally when you purchase something like this, it ends up going into your kids' room or a place out of site because it just isn't bright enough to do much. I did my initial test on the kitchen counter and was not ready for how bright this was! The image on the "ad" shows a slider for selecting colors - disregard that! You only have 7 to choose from and multiple brightness settings. You can also select 3k or 6500k "WHITE". I will purchase a second unit to replace both old 4-bulb light fixtures in my kitchen ceiling; that is how impressively bright they can be! And the night light function is easy on the eyes and not blind you so also perfect for a hallway or bathroom! Only issue I had (besides no batteries - and the box does not have a not saying so) was the fact that you cannot select any other than the 7 (again, thinking there was an APP or something to allow sliding for custom colors - eg. there is no ORANGE for Halloween!) The only other thing that would make this better besides more colors? Make it APP ready or Alexa ready! :) WARRANTY: This is a standard 3 yr manufacturer warranty that matches anyone else out there. LED standards are also matched with 10yr/30k hours. These are LEDs - not lightbulbs! NOTE: 2AA BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED! EDIT: After it becoming night, and installing the light in a temp spot (makeup area in the bathroom), I decided to do more testing (and please disregard the temp wires hanging down - they were just for the photos and the wiring will pass through the ceiling into the attic.) The Night Light is not as dim as I had previously thought (no big deal, but wanted to let everyone know). What I did find out and decided to change my rating down to a 4.5 stars is that fact that the other 6 colors are not dimmable at all - they are set to a fixed brightness. Disappointed, but understandable. I would still install two of these into my kitchen area for the brightness alone! ... show more

We have a hallway in our house that is very dark. We replaced a more craftsman style light for this. It makes it much brighter, and it is really cool how you can change the colors. It took my husband around 10 minutes to install. He had no issues or concerns.

I was skeptical buying this due to the lack of reviews, but so far so good! The light is SO bright and can be adjusted different ways with a remote. Definitely recommend.

Updated Review: Product listing was updated to address my complaint below so, in fairness, I am updating my review from 1 star to 4 stars. The quality of the light emitted is excellent, as are the brightness, dimming and colors. The quality of the all plastic fixture could be better. Hopefully the light and remote control hold up for the estimated 10-year lifespan. I wasn't looking to buy a hardwired lightbulb but am now open to the idea. Initial 1 Star Review: First person to review this product. It is a hardwired lightbulb. Last page of User Manual notes a material fact not disclosed in the Amazon product description: "Precautions About the Product.... 2. The LED light source inside the lamp body can not replaceable." What is disclosed in the product description is "a work life of more than 30000 hours." If 30,000 hours or more is accurate then at 8 hours per day this light fixture will need to be replaced in about 10 years. Warranty is only 3 years and who knows if this "BLNAN" company will be around that long to honor the warranty. Details of " 3 Years Warranty & Best Service" are not disclosed. I will give this product a try but am now quite hesitant to buy another to replace the second flourecent light fixture in my kitchen. Really, I'm hesitant to even take the time to install this product. Only 1 star for now based on failure to make important disclosures that reasonable customers would want to know up front. ... show more
