I wore this shawl on a cruise recently and wore it multiple times. I wore it to an elegant dinner and I wore it on the beach to protect myself from the sun. I also wore it daily on our balcony. No sun burn. I have an illness that is made worse by the sun and I can safely say this item helped. This shawl is very long and it covers your back completely. This shawl is soooooo soft. This is the second one I purchased I loved my first so much. Comfortable, perfect sun protection. Breathes better than a lot of other spf materials and it allows air underneath. I love being outside but burn even with sunblock. This is a game changer for me!

Very nice and soft. But it is NOT pashmina. It clearly looks like a tencel product, which it is. Very practical, and I think I will enjoy using it on my next airplane trip. Large enough to cover most of my upper body. Will be good in the fall, too, when I need just a little something.
