This shawl is fantastic. The material is very soft. It feels like a very well loved, well worn tshirt. It does not feel satiny or silky. I wore this shawl on a cruise recently and wore it multiple times. I wore it to an elegant dinner and I wore it on the beach to protect myself from the sun. I also wore it daily on our balcony. No sun burn. I have an illness that is made worse by the sun and I can safely say this item helped. This shawl is very long and it covers your back completely. It helps keep you warm when the AC is too high. I am definetly coming back for the black.

Love love love this wrap! I've used it on several long-haul flights and various vacations. It folds up fairly small to fit in a carry-on, and is warm enough to use as a blanket on flights. In England I used it as a scarf in the spring . I've even worn it as a wrap on Sundays at church. Fabric is soft, drapes beautifully, and is comfortable against your skin. I have the light gray which is a versatile color.

As a shawl, this is great. It's very soft and stretchy and has weight to it so it stays in place when you wrap it around your shoulders. I still returned it, however, because I wanted to use it as a scarf specifically and it's too heavy for that in my opinion. It's heavier than a normal scarf. So if you're buying this to use as a shawl or just drape around your neck then it will work great. But if you want to wrap it around your neck a few times like a traditional scarf, like I wanted to, you might find it Too heavy to do that comfortably.
