I have a parastomal hernia that I support with a small belt. The BLITZU helps keep my abdomen from bulging out when doing daily lifting tasks. It can be tightened as my comfort desires. I like it very much and it is flexible with strong velcro. I wouldn't recommend it as a hernia only belt. Too wide and not comfortably able to access what is normally a small area. Go with a slimmer hernia belt and use the BLITZU for more support.

Hubs wears it while waiting for surgery on a hernia. says it’s not quite soft enough to wear against his skin (he has a more medical looking one from the pharmacy that’s softer) but works great worn over his shirt, and has been good for sweatier endeavors like tennis. (We tried this because The white pharmacy one soaks up soooo much sweat) . On the whole, it achieved its purpose. Would have been nice to be able to hide it under his shirt though.

This belt stays in place and does not curle during exercise. It is comfortable and can be worn 24 x 7 if necessary. I always wear it during exercise and heavy lifting. During extended wear, I apply powder to prevent itching. I tend to forget I have it on, since it is so comfortable.

Opened the box and removed the belt with the two velcro removable pressure discs. I have a rather large abdominal hernia that sticks out far at times. I opted to use the more firm disc. I used the size chart they had provided so it was a good fit. It easily wraps around and stretches to your level of comfort and pressure. It has ribs on the sides that go from top to bottom to prevent the actual wrap from rolling, which was great for me. All-in-all great purchase I would recommend.

There are two hard vertical stays that keep the belt from bunching up -- they poke me in the hip points no matter what I do. The inner tail of loop velcro is not secured to any hook velcro, and a corner of it migrates up until it pokes out conspicuously or down where it pokes me in the inguinal area. It is hard to get the "belly button pusher" adjusted. The smell is pretty intensely Old Latex Rubber even after several washings. I'm about to trash it.

This one works good for hernias. But I found for mine, a regular back brace works just as good and gives me more support. But if you have a much worse Hernia, maybe this would be better.
