This back brace has been a great value for my money. It has an amazing design, it is easy to use, and it has a smooth adjustment ability. I have worn it multiple times a week, over the last 12 - 15 months, and it has not torn, nor ripped, and the part that has the brace strapped around your waist (kind of a Velcro material) has not diminished. I am about 225 lbs, and 6'1", and lift a lot of heavy weights (but I have a little bit of a gut I am trying to get rid of), and this brace's functionality has remained consistently strong. Once I start to lose weight, I plan getting a smaller one from them. "I highly recommend."

After a few days of coughing and sitting while getting over some winter bug my back went into some serious fits. I was unable to sleep. Even awake I was in pain unless I was slowly walking around or laid on a lumbar support. This was very comfortable and allowed me to sit for a while. I love the adjustability and we got 2 but one had velcro of steel and the other's velcro was much less strong. However, my wife needed one and the easier velcro was to her liking so it worked out. I would like to point out that I am carrying a lot of extra weight and have very questionable posture, yet I still found this brace more comfortable than any I have tried in previous years.

If I was being thrown out of an airlock in outer space, I would want this kind of velcro on my suit so I could stick myself to the walls. The velcro WILL NOT OPEN. It is so strong, it took both me and my husband, his teeth and a pair or pliers to peel the velcro open. I could not adjust it. I am exhausted! I am astonished at how strong the velcro is, but unfortunately, it turns what otherwise could be a nice back brace into a death trap of despair. When you were little, did you ever get stuck in turtleneck sweater? Did you eve get your head caught in something? Were you ever trapped in a well or an iron maiden? It's kind of like that. I design and make custom corsets for a living, and I have many back braces. Never in my life have I encountered velcro so strong. It should be used to keep mobil homes together during tornadoes. Needless to say, I have to return it. How does anyone deal with this velcro? I'm not even exaggerating. The moment I put it on I was trapped. My hands hurt so bad. If my husband was not here to release me, I would be in the fetal position, most likely stuck to the carpet, sobbing.

This item fit nicely, but might be too tall for me. I'm 5' 9" and while it fit and gave support, the sides dug into my ribs. If I wasn't moving, it was perfectly fine, but if I were moving around at all, the sides would dig into my ribs and was uncomfortable as heck. I don't know if it was a combination of my height and waist size that this just happened to be how it fit me. I tried lowering it down so it wouldn't rub, but with my anatomy, it just rode up and eventually dug into my ribs again.
