I ordered a different brand and it was way too soft and spongy. This is nice and firm so I can sit upright while reading. Instructions said to wash the cover before using and it was relatively easy to get off and back on. The standard size was perfect for my size frame.

Great Choice by me!!!! lol After searching so many , this was delivered on time , color is great, thickness is perfect for sitting up in bed to read , watch tv , even playing on your iPad The pockets are firm , not so deep and will hold at least 2 clickers. This can be used alone and is very comfy . I use a pillow with it and find it extremely comfortable I especially love that you can zip the cover off and wash it, a great plus!!!! I absolutely would recommend this Blissful Backrest Pillow, if you want/like firm, this is the one!

The instructions suggested allowing up to 48 hours for the pillow to fully fluff out after unpacking. To my pleasant surprise, it expanded completely in just about 12 hours, ready for use much sooner than expected. This reading pillow is fully stuffed and thick. It's not like others that skimp out on the stuffing. The height is just right for my medium frame. My shoulder blades don't touch the top, even when I'm totally upright. Just be aware that it has a slight lean-back to it. I really like the texture and the pockets on both sides. The color is spot-on with the photos. I added a smaller pillow only because I tend to slide lower as I spend more time reading. It's not necessary at all. All in all, I think this is a generous price for the quality you get.
