This is our second order with Blinds Avenue Store. 5 total blinds ordered. Quick delivery. And great quality. Very easy to install. But the most impressive part of our order was the customer service. I received a call from John R, with Blinds Avenue. He was going to upgrade our blinds to a more sleek design, at no cost!! But he wanted to check with me first, to see it that would be ok. What company does something like that today?? He wanted to make sure that the 1st order of blinds matched the 2nd order. Since they are in different rooms, it did not matter to us. He also helped me with a mounting problem I was going to have on a trapezoid shaped window. Solved it with a jamb mounting bracket. I cannot say enough about John and Blinds Avenue Store. I ordered a very wide shade (82"), and this was the best option I could find anywhere. The cost was very reasonable for being so wide and being top down. I had thick curtains already for total darkness at night, but I also wanted to have some light while keeping privacy, while also insulating from intense southern sun. This checked all those boxes, especially with keeping the bedroom much cooler for longer during the summer. The only issue I had was that it was a bit too taught, which overcompensated a bit much for the side of the shades. This made it hard to pull down, and it also pulled it up a few inches from the expected full length. I reached out to customer support to see if they'd recommend anything I could do on my side to adjust that; they were incredibly helpful and responsive! Top tier support! Shades were cut to exact measurement of my window casing. They fit perfect! The installation was difficult because the included screw have to thick of a head on the screw and the shade wouldn't pop in. I had to remove the 2 rear screws and only use the 1 screw in the front, middle. The it was easy to install the shade. Manufacturer needs to use flush screw heads so that this isn't a problem on installation. ... show more

Easy to install and seems decent. But the part where the “fabric” is connected to the plastic base looks like it’s barely connected. This also makes the top cell deformed looking/doesn’t hold its shape. Also, it feels and sounds (when pulling down) like it’s made of paper.

These blinds are great and were easy to install. The screw hardware, however, does not work with the brackets. I had to use flathead screws so the blinds would fit in the mount. I wish they would update their screws. I still give them 5 stars because their customer service was great. in needed different pulls and they responded quickly and sent me extra. ... show more

Does what I wanted. Let's in light without the dog seeing out to bark at people on the sidewalk. Even though I gave exact measurements it was still a tight fit. Fixed it by mounting it on the window frame instead of inside like I ordered it for.
