The cables are of good quality, price match or better than local stores of same quality cable. Most of the time the cable needs to be replaced because of the rusting of the loop ends at bottom of garage door. Need a better design of the loop end or bracket design so that the rusting of the loop ends do not occur.

These steel garage door wire cables (2x) have a wear resistant coating, which protects them from rust and corrosion. My garage door is 7ft tall, and these 8’6” cables are the exact length required for my repair. They have the same loop on one end, and cable catch on the opposite end, as my previous cable. These are easy to install without need of a specialist. This is a great value for a pair of torsion spring cables for a 7ft garage door.

Needed a new set of these to replace a 20 yr old pair that showed some signs of wear n' had some rust areas around the lower connections - these fit the bill perfectly - fit right up as intended and seemed to be of same if not a bit better in quality than that of the originals. No issues with these and highly recommend these when in search for cables.
