Perhaps this solar panel is going to become my favorite piece of tech I bought in a while. I accomplished everything I needed with a gadget like that, it’s portable, versatile and easy to use. I bought it primarily to be used as a source of juice for my phone when I’m on a hike or camping in dunes near a beach. So I looked for a solar panel that would be both light and transportable, as well as powerful enough to charge a phone or a power bank on the go. I hike with my 40L Osprey backpack and the size of this panel is perfect for it. I hang it on the back of my pack and it sits there very sturdy. There are 2 small carabiners that are very handy for that. Another way of using it is placing it on top of a tent on a sunny day while camping. I have a power bank which I like to use for charging my devices overnight, and need it full of juice before night time. The power bank I use does have small solar panels itself but I was always worried about charging it that way because it could get overheated. With this standalone solar charger it’s not an issue anymore. From what I can tell so far the power of this solar charger is enough to power a phone, and a power bank given there are no clouds and you keep it plugged in for enough time. There is a DC cable with a couple of different size attachments that comes with the panel itself, I haven’t used them yet but that is very convenient as I have an electric skateboard which apparently I could charge with this solar panel as well, though I’ll update my review once I try it. I’m yet to try this charger with my M1 MacBook Air. I know that Apple M1 processors are very power efficient and in fact the stock usb c charger that they are sold with is 30W as well. So I imagine this panel has to be a perfect fit for it to work outside, thankfully I have a 10ft usb c cable so I won’t have to sit right under the sunlight next to the panel itself with my MacBook , lol! Other than DC ports it has a single USB A port, I wish there was more but I have a charging cable that splits into 3 separate ones so I could use it for charging multiple devices simultaneously if needed, although I didn’t find it necessary for my use case yet. Overall I think this is a great purchase for the money. I know there are more powerful options but I’d have to compromise on portability which in my case was essential.

Only 2 little things keeping this from 5 stars for me. 1) the ports face the storage pouch, making it so you can't use the panel and have anything in the pouch at all... 2) no magnets or anything helping keep it in the closed position. Other than that, it is a great, so far durable little panel!

I bought one of these to recharge batteries while I was in Baja Mexico. The place we stayed at didn't have outlets readily available for charging devices, so this charger worked out well. The solar panels were able to provide about a 30% - 40% charge for a 10000mAh battery after a few hours. I know that may seem like a long time for this amount of charge, but when you have no alternative, this device services the need well. It's best to have the solar panels charge a battery, then use the battery to charge your device. I suggest having 2 batteries to alternate charging, so you can use the other to charge your device.

I purchased this solar panel to take with me on a week long camping trip to Catalina Island and it did not disappoint. It is by no means a lightning charger but it works very well. I noticed that the panel needs to come into direct sunlight for a minute or two before it would start charging my phone, but other than that it’s amazing. It even got wet from the morning dew and didn’t skip a beat. Im thinking of buying another one to keep in the camping gear arsenal.

I’m writing this because I’m new to solar and thought I’d give this a try. I was seeking something to charge my phone off grid. I choose 10 watt cause at the price I figured if it didn’t work it wouldn’t be a huge loss. With that said I choose a cloudy day to do my test. I figured if I could try to charge my Apple iPhone XS on a not ideal day I could see if it was worth what I spent. To my surprise in 30 mins it charged up from 59% to 65%. Later on the sun finally came out and within 6 mins of full sun I went from 65% to 69%. I imagine a good hr in bright Sun it would charge itself up rather good. So overall I like it. Now I wish I bought the 20w instead. Go ahead and give it a try. What can it hurt?

Connected my "inline multi meter" (Eversame 2 in 1 Type C USB Tester Color Screen LCD Digital Multimeter) in series between the solar panel and a lithium power pack (YILANS Portable Charger, 18000mAh USB C Power Bank), at 30%. Placed the solar in the sun and was happy to see 4.8v at 1.4a =6.72 watts flowing. I know it says 10 watts but that's impossible with a 1/2 sqft of solar (6"x6" x2), totally satisfied with the performance and the overall package. Would purchase again.

Love this product. I use solar to charge everything and for outdoor lighting. Nothing bad I can say about it. It charges things very quickly, need very little light to charge, perfect for on the go charging. I lay it on the dash of the vehicle while driving. Very happy with it and will be ordering this again. I've also been telling my friends who want to use solar that this is the thing to buy
