    • Amazing Hood, Super easy install
Fits perfectly for the 5856 Omnivore 36". We bought our Blackstone 3 or 4 years ago and it came with the standard lid that you have to manually lift on and off. It was fine and still worked great up until I ordered this one. But, it gets rather tedious and finding out that I could order a lid and it installs as easy as this was a no brainer. Ordered, arrived 2 days later and install takes less than 10 minutes. Attach the handle with 2 screws and attach the lid with the supplied bolts and nuts and you are done. Authentic Blackstone product and the quality appears to be fantastic. In short - if you need a new lid for any reason - I highly recommend this one. Don't cheap out on an off-brand one, just get the real deal. ... show more

Nice hood. Looks easy enough to install to the griddle, but I'll let my son do that on his next visit. Fits perfectly. I just havent bolted it on yet as I'm nearly 70. I like that the handle is on the front of it instead of the top like some I've seen. Yes, buy yourself one. And it'll protect your Blackstone. This completely makes over our Blackstone. Ours came with the removable cover and talk about a pain to use when cooking. This cover works just like a standard BBQ grill and is so much easier to use and putting it on was easy.

Perfect fit, as it should be, being made by the same manufacturer. Best if you have a second person to help with the install, as it can be kind of difficult to steady it and put the hinge screws in at the same time. Looks to be well made, solid but not too heavy.

Buy this lid! It is a no-brainer when comparing to the hard lid this model comes with. I bought this model because it was on sale at tractor supply but unfortunately it did not have a hinged lid. I'm glad Blackstone came out with this solution because it makes using much easier as well as holding in heat during cooks as needed. If you are on the fence, just know that installation is a breeze and the lid is well made. Should last for years with good maintenance. I've had good luck in the past with the high heat black spray-on paint for barbecues. As these things age I'm sure paint peels but with a little bit of sanding and a wire wheel you could easily resurface the grill and lid. ... show more
