I’ve been wanting to try the sebum scraper for some time now. I thought it would be a good way to clear congested pores quickly. I first used it on my nose very slowly and with moderate pressure and was very pleased with the results. I did the same on my chin and the area next to my nose fully cleaning out those pores. I was sure to wash my face before and after. The results for me have been very good. The scraper tool is easy to hold onto and the flat metal piece fits nicely in the holder, comes out of it just as easily for cleaning. The blackhead remover has two ends one that is a circle to put around the pore you’re trying to clear. I don’t use that end much if ever. I find it hurts my face more and does more damage. However everyone is different. On the other end is a very sharp point. I would think this would be for getting sebaceous filaments and perhaps opening a closed comedone. This tip is extremely sharp and comes with a protective cover. This tip should be used with caution and the greatest of care. I feel like these two items are a good pair and I’m happy with their performance. I’m happy with color as well. The scraper tool is a 10 out of 10 the blackhead tool is not quite for me but seems to be decent enough for what it is.

I’m using this blackhead remover more for prepping the skin instead of getting rid of pimples as I’m not struggling with those anymore. I like to use the ergonomic head on my face before applying serum to help it penetrate even deeper. I think this is an affordable tool, almost $10 and it’s quite useful. The size is pretty convenient as you can fit it in your purse for easy traveling. I’ve noticed better results with products I’ve always used so definitely using this has improve my skin in ways that it looks better and also feels softer!

The MaryCarrie Blackhead Remover and Pimple Extractor Kit is a nicely designed, sturdy set of tools for personal care. This set comes with a dual end extractor tool and dual headed scraper. The extractor has a very sharp needle* on one end and an extractor on the other. This enables the user to drain a blemish without squeezing or pinching, actions that can further inflame and infect a blemish. The scraper comes with two heads that can be flipped and slid into a comfortable base depending on which is needed at the time. One end is rounded, while the other has a shallow arc. This tool works exceptionally well removing blackheads and excess oil from skin. The tools are constructed from stainless steel; they appear to be very good quality. I found the tools easy to use and comfortable to hold. I also believe they can serve multiple purposes. The scraper tool could also function as a Gua Sha tool, whereas the extractor tool would be great at draining fluid filled insect bites and small pockets of infection. This is a nice set of tools that can be quite helpful with certain aspects of personal care. If used properly and kept clean they’ll be a much safer option for clearing blemishes. They’re good in both quality and design. *Note of caution: This needle is extremely sharp, care should be used to avoid injury. It should be capped when not in use to avoid accidental injuries, and of course, kept out of reach of children. ****About me: Integrity is very important to me. Reviews I've posted will be from items I've had direct contact with. These are my honest opinions. I will not post a review for a product I have not had personal contact with.

I'm liking this blackhead remover so far. The scraper is satisfying to use and seems to do a good job. I think I may need more practice with this though. When I was attempting to remove a stubborn blackhead, I missed and poked in slightly the wrong place. Now I have a nice red spot for the last few weeks! The pin tip is sharp, as it should be, but keep this in mind when using it. It does get in to the recesses really well and lets the removal end do it's thing. This has worked well for me so far. Recommended.

This little tool set is actually quite effective, especially for what it costs. The different tools work well for at-home use, and I'm glad they're stainless steel so they're easy to keep properly sterilized. My only small flag is that for a kit marketed for sensitive skin, I'd feel better if the specific grade of steel was mentioned for extra reassurance.

I wasn’t sure about this product because I didn’t know if I was going to be able to hold it at the right angle or be able to even use it correctly. I was surprised at how uncomplicated it was. It takes out all my blackheads without really any effort at all. I find that it works better when I steam my face before hand so that my pores are loosened. I also use it right out of the shower so that I don’t need to use my steam machine. Seeing everything come out is quite satisfying, although I am unsure if it is good for my pores to use it too much. I have been only using it once every couple weeks. The areas where I use it feel as if it is exfoliated and feels smoother. On top of seeing the results, it is very easy to keep clean and seems to be good quality. I also have sensitive skin so I am always cautious, but using this has not caused any type of sensitivity issues.
