I decided to purchase a battery-powered buffer, as I was getting tired of stumbling over the cords of my electric buffer. It was a good decision, a battery-powered machine saves time and effort, and is much easier to use. Besides the good price, I liked the included accessories - several buffing pads, and two batteries. I didn't think I would appreciate the gloves, but when I decided to use them, they actually saved a little effort (better grip) and a little mess on my hands. I was able to completely cut, polish, and wax my Camaro, and got a good start on my small SUV before the first battery ran down. I plugged in the charger, and the light on the plug stayed green. I had to unplug and replug the charger back in to the battery, and then the light turned red and it started charging. It seemed to take a couple of hours or so to charge a battery. But overall, I'm very pleased with the battery life. The reason this buffer only received 4 stars, instead of 5, is that the velcro came completely off the pad. I used some heavy-duty super glue to reattach the velcro, and it seems to be holding. I'll need to put a little more glue around the edges. The buffing pads really stick well to the velcro, so it's not too surprising that it comes off. But they could have used better adhesive in the first place. Make sure to have some heavy duty, fast-drying super glue on hand after you buy it.

Everything came as represented in a nice package. Simple and straightforward and easy to use. For the home user to do light paint enhancement this is a very nice little machine. If you have deeper scratches that require a heavier cut this would be a little under powered for that. It tends to stall on contours or when trying to apply moderate pressure and I've only used it twice so don't know about longevity yet. For just applying wax this machine is pretty great. For reducing light swirling it's very good. For anything deeper you'll need more power. Battery life seems pretty good. You'll need both batteries to get all the way around an average sized vehicle and they take several hours to recharge so once the second one runs out of steam you're done for the day. All in all, I like this super lightweight little machine. Much easier on the hands and arms than a typical corded DA.

The attached pad holder arrived with a section of the hook and loop type liner detached due to the product being tight packaged. I resolved it by gluing it back in place. That would be an extra cost had I not already had the Gorila glue.

I’m using this for the first time since I purchased it, don’t like the fact that I can’t send it back and I can’t use it. I was looking forward to cleaning my car now I’m stuck with a product I can’t use the pad will not stay on the base where the Velcro should be sticking on very disappointing.
