I bought this vent as a replacement for our kitchen remodel (still in progress). It looks great and the operation is really simple. Only downside is since it is black it shows a lot of dust build up so it needs wiped down periodically. Also, the top lip where the chimney stack panels go has a sharp edge and will cut you (as I learned during installation.) But other than that it was a great purchase and much cheaper than the big box stores. We are happy with it! ... show more
