It's a little hard to see in the photo but the sharp tip side is not just a brush but is like a plastic tip with maybe felt and jus the tip. This makes it not good for calligraphy of any kind. But its perfect for detail work without accidently pressing to hard and making a mess of your art. You will need to pre the pens like you do a chalk pen, something I don't enjoy doing. I prefer the Acrylic pens that just work out of the box.

Overall these are nice paint markers. Seem to offer good, consistent coverage for the ones I have used and a nice touch having dual ends. No leaked markers or damage upon arrival. Overall would purchase these again.

I really like these paint pens. They work really well and I appreciate that there isn't the toxic fumes like in other paint pens I've tried. The 4 pack is a bonus value too. These are easy to use and the dual tip is excellent to suit any artistic needs. I love these and highly recommend them.

I'm new to art and painting, so I'm still collecting supplies and trying out new things. I'm definitely going to keep these paint pens in my toolbox. Plain black is SO useful for linework and labeling. I can tell I'm going to be using these for a lot of different applications. They function well, start easily, and are so convenient. I like that they have dual tips so I can get the exact right width for my lines. Highly recommended.

I ordered these paint markers to write names onto the leaves of irises when dividing and moving them. Standard markers do not work for this and paint markers are known as the type of marker to use when writing on iris leaves. These markers perform well for that job.
