The spikes were the perfect color and did the job right. I did not experience any bending when I installed them. The hardest part of the installation was removing the old spikes. I cut the head off of them and was able to punch the spike part through the wall with an awl on half of the spikes. The other half I had to drill the spike part out. Work great if holes are perfect. But I had to use these as a replacement and the holes were not perfect. The prescored part will become a little floppy with the least amount lateral force when trying to push in. But they hold well and ready to use.

These fasteners work well if you have everything lined up and in position. They will bend very easily and break, rendering them useless. I tapped them in with a rubber mallet and that seemed to do the trick. Very lightly.
