The first one of these rugs I bought, honestly, I freaked. It came in a vacuum-sealed package and when I opened it up, it looked like a checkerboard. I followed other reviewers' instructions to let it air out a couple of days, but it was still pretty bad. So, I threw it in the wash and then let it air dry on a drying rack. It says not to put it in the dryer, but I put it in there for 5 minutes and now I have a beautiful fluffy rug. So, I bought two more. They are easy to clean and durable. Knocking off 1 star because they do have to be washed on a regular basis or they start getting super flat and lose their fluffiness. Enjoy!

This rug is extremely soft, has a nice thickness and will be the perfect size next to my moms bed. I bought the 3'x5'. It does have an industrial smell and I'm airing it out. I also bought a non slip pad gripper to place underneath it for my elderly moms sake. We haven't washed it yet so I don't know how it will hold up and so I cannot comment on that part.

The reason everyone says it looks flat and thin is because it comes vacuum sealed. But it literally comes with a card explaining everything that people complain about. The card basically says to just give it time or shake it but I decided to put mine in the dryer right away on air fluff for 20 minutes. Then I put it where I want it and ran my hand backwards across it. It is now pretty fluffed and looks great. I love it! Update: It says if the rug gets dirty, to shake it out but it doesn’t shake out easily. I finally decided to try washing it. I washed it on gentle/cold and then dried it on air fluff for 40 minutes. It came out perfect! Better than new! The only thing is, the bottom material still wasn’t dry when I took it out, so basically it dries unevenly, but that didn’t really bother me as long as the top looked good.

I love these rugs. I ordered 2- one for each side of my bed. They were shipped separately for some reason and when I opened, they are not the same color. One is white white and one is off white. So... One is in my room and the other is in my daughter's. Still love them just wish they had been the same color.

I purchased this to add some texture/interest to a plain, rental bathroom and didn’t have high expectations of the rug holding up. Happily, it’s done better than expected! The pros are that it hasn’t become matted and does ok with some drips of water. The style/size is good for the price. The cons are that it’s very thin and that it’s nowhere near as fluffy as the photo indicates. Mine has fluffed up some, but most of the rug is slightly more fluffed than upon arrival, but doesn’t stand up as in the picture.
