I was thinking it would be nice to have a saw that was lightweight (my circular saw is so heavy it's kind of a pain for some uses.) And this is very light and easy to heft and use. However, I underestimated how much harder it would be to make good, straight cuts (at least without a guide). This is not the fault of the saw, of course, and makes it nimble for cutting irregular shapes, and it's fine for quick small cuts, and comes at a really good price. Works great for making precise cuts in bamboo flooring so I can install around floor vents and door jambs. Very easy to use and the guideline is accurate for straight cuts. Haven't tried it for beveled cuts yet. Blades are also easy to install and remove. Great little tool at a good price.
