    • Exactly what I was looking for!
Mostly wanted a dry iron, but every iron has a steam function now. I have the option to not use the steam which is what I wanted! It’s hefty, not too heavy to lift. It works great. Will be using it for ironing clothes when needed and for my sewing projects :D

    • Sometimes Older is Better
I purchased a new iron to replace that had all the newer technology, including retractable cord, auto shut off, etc. But it was mostly made of plastic and much lighter than the older iron. Twice I bumped the ironing board (the floor was not level )very lightly and the iron fell to the floor. It seems to stop working. So I purchased an iron with a metal base. I bumped the ironing board again, but the new Iron did not fall. It did not seemed to be impacted. The weight of the the metal iron made it more stable. Also, I needed to use more pressure on the lighter iron to smooth out some wrinkles. I did not need to do this with the older design. ... show more

My old iron quit working and had a time finding a new one without a lot of extra options just wanted one that was good at getting rid of wrinkles and this iron does the job. A little heavier than my old one but still am quite happy with it.

It's an iron; it works. I had to buy a new iron when the cord on my old iron wore out. This is an iron; it works. The only thing I don't like -- it's really heavy.

I have gone through a number of irons and my maid who loves to iron (which is great so hardly send things to the cleaners now) loves this iron. It heavy and she says it’s much easier to us. Best part is that it’s not as expensive and other that haven’t lasted. So it’s a good value.

GREAT IRON; easy fill spout for water, clear on /off, clear settings. Appropriately heavy duty so it actually IRONS. This is a great iron, compared to my last 2 irons, this is by far THE BEST. Highly recommend

This is a sturdy, classic iron. It has easy to understand, versatile settings. Do you want to iron cotton, cotton blend, silk, etc? There's a setting for that.
