Description

The BLACK+DECKER MATRIX 6 Tool Combo Kit (BDCDMT1206KITC) is an all in one kit to tackle most jobs around the house. The 20V MAX motor provides enough power for a full range of applications and the 20V MAX Lithium-Ion Battery holds a charge up to 18 months so it is ready when you need it. The innovative MATRIX Quick Connect System allows for quick and easy changing of all included attachments. The drill attachment contains a 3/8-inch chuck and 11 adjustable clutch settings to deliver the right torque for the right application. The impact driver attachment delivers high performance output without kick back, along with a variable speed feature that allows for precision performance that is right for each job. The sanding attachment is a versatile product that can be used for finish sanding, rust removal, dry scrubbing, polishing, and detail sanding. Just what I need as I'm always needing a tool to work on a small job around the house or with my hobby. The selection of a sander, drill, impact driver, oscillating saw, jig saw and router help me with all my little "need to finish projects" such as refinishing a wooden chair seat, hanging pictures, drive screws on a fence, cut fence posts and finish edges of a waiting platform for my train layout with these attachments. I have other B&D yard tools and the same battery pack works on everything, so very nice package of accessories to own and a lot cheaper than buying separate hand tools. I was going to buy a couple of tool accessories for my 7-8 year old Black & Decker Matrix 20V lithium drill. Saw this kit and thought "this is a great buy. So darn you Black & Decker, I so so need this right now. Ok ok I actually don't need it. I WANT THIS. I guess thats honestly all that really matters. The circular saw, sander and drill attachment came with my older Matrix which was or has been really handy for many projects. Looking forward to using the jig, router and oscillating saw attachments, i was about to buy individually. Buying those 3 would nearly matched the price of this kit which has all 6 attachments. It has been very handy, usefull just swapping between the drill to the circular saw then the sander back to drill etc. I do think a lot of people should put thier faith in Black & Decker products. I've used B&D for decades. Think only two real issues, complaint I have is the 3 3/8" circular saw blade isn't quite large enough when cutting 2x4 without a second pass on the back side. My next buy will likely be the 5 1/4" B&D 20V circular saw. I'm thinking that would be fairly handy but the 3 3/8" is still very handy for smaller boards 1x6, 1x8, and plywood sheets . Great for book shelves and cabinets and other small home projects. Second issue is the the 1.5 Ah battery which doesn't last long enough. 15-20 minute run time on most projects. A 4 Ah works really well as does having multiple battery packs. I would like to see new B&D products coming with larger 20V AH battery packs. That 1.5 Ah has been around a very long time while handy and light weight it just doesn't have the run time that people really need. Honestly anything under a 3 Ah 20V lithium these days is well a decade out dated. Oh and now I have a 2nd Matrix drill which I can have set up so I don't need to be swapping attachments as often. Surprisingly I have been using the circular saw nearly as much as I use the drill attachment. ... show more

One attachment did not work. It was replaced. But buy more attachments is expensive.

Bought it for my wife's home projects. She loves it. We use it all the time. This is the second Black and Decker interchangeable. Got our first over 10 years ago at Walmart. They quit selling it and the accessories but has given great service as a drill. When I saw the full kit I had to buy a new one. The original still works and all the accessories and batteries fit fine. We have the Pole saw and the Weed eater too. All give great service. Battery life could be better. We have extras. I'm planning to order more batteries too. ... show more

I honestly did not expect some of the attachments to work as well as their single-use equivalents, but they do! The drill attachment feels faster and torque-ier than my 20V max drill, although I can't prove it. The Jigsaw is terrific, and very easy to control, and the oscillating multi-tool, which I thought would be ergonomically awkward, it is very easy to use and while it is different from the standard wand-type form-factor, it works perfectly well. ... show more

    • BAD BATTERY
The set came with a battery that will not charge after 2 days trying. The charge cord that came with it charges up an identical battery that I had previously purchased. I submitted a feedback to the seller and will revise this review, up or down, depending on how they resolve the issue.
