This jug is super handy if you have dogs! I really like that it has a bowl on the bottom, and that it is stainless steel. Dogs don't generally like to drink out of plastic and/or a bowl that wobbles. (At least in my experience, and I do animal rescue, so I'm around a ton of dogs!) The colors are nice and different, and it holds enough water for my 2 dogs and me on a 3 mile mountain hike. It is a bit heavy and inconvenient when it’s 100% full with 4 cups of ice but the more I drink it the lighter it gets which is the exact incentive I need for when I work at camp. I don’t have any issues with the weight, don’t think it’s heavy and it’s easy to hold. Also has the perfect capacity. I have a smaller bottle (34oz) similar to this one, but I needed something bigger for work days when I can't refill it. This one leaks, no matter how tight I put the lid on, then it's crazy hard to unscrew the lid. The bottle is too large to get a good grip on. The smaller, drinking, lid goes on crooked every time, so I have to actually take extra time to line it up and screw it just so, otherwise it's crooked and leaks from there as well. I purchased this because I’ve always used plastic ones but they’re so flimsy and are overall bad for you overtime. My water would taste like plastic, however this one is AMAZING! I wanted something sturdy, durable and one that would keep my water cold. It can definitely get heavy when it’s full but I drink this entire thing in one day so it’s not an issue. It would also be doubled as a weapon with how heavy it gets with water and the metal would take someone out😂 I get comments EVERYTIME I bring it in public so get used to that. But this bottle is my baby, I bring it everywhere and I absolutely love it. It’s easy to clean, the straw comes apart which makes cleaning simpler. Obsessed with my gallon jug!
