The dress overall is really nice. It has two layers and is mostly cotton. Its a little tighter in the waist than I was expecting given I usually wear a XL in women's but overall still fits comfortably. The little dangling bits of fabric are a little strange but could be used to keep the sleeves up, otherwise they are a bit thin compared to the images provided. Thin but not see through because of the layers to the bottom. Top part (chest area) can be a little see through. It was very comfortable and had some stretch to it from the elastic in waist & sleeves. Belt couldn’t be adjusted too much, I would have liked it tighter but it still looked good.

The dress fit great and was comfy, but the fabric is so thin that it ripped when I was walking along one of the bottom section seams. Also the corset is ridiculously small, like I ordered a medium dress and the corset *mighr* have fit if I was 60# lighter. I kept sitting on the long arm pieces too.

Bought this dress for my tall 12 yr old daughter for the Renaissance Festival. It was a little long so we brought up the waist and tucked it under her belt. Even on a hot summer day she wasn't too warm and was comfortable all day. It's light and flowy and she got many compliments! The layers make it not see through. The belt is just right and makes it very flattering. Occassionally she got annoyed with the flowy arm pieces but they stay out of the way enough that she felt elegant.
