I'm relatively new to CNC work and as such I'm building up my collection of bits. I have a couple of 1/8" up cut bits already and these new ones compare nicely. These are coated and are priced reasonably. They are quite sharp and will work well for hardwood projects. I do wish the plastic storage containers were labeled (something I always appreciate).     • Great Spiral Cutting Bit for Rotory Tool
Used in my hand-held rotary tool, I found these to cut very well in both soft and hardwood. I mostly use them for cleaning up a router cut, dovetail, or corner piece that didn’t quite cut as clean as I like when using one of my routers or router table. These bits appear to be made from high-quality solid carbide, with a heat-dispensing coating to ensure long-lasting protection, Designed for CNC use the bit is durable and disperses the heat better than just an uncoated bit. This 2 pack of carbide up cut spiral router bits do the job intended. These bits come in 1/8” shank and may need a collet adapter to be used. I used these bits with my Shapeoko 3 concert router. The cuts were clean and beautiful. I have used these on walnut, pine and oak without any issues. Each time they have been used the uncut style provides a clean top surface and reduces edge fraying. I use these bits to clean up any edges or to take off any small mistakes using a hand-held rotary tool since the largest shank it can take is an 1/8 inch. They work well and cut easily. They are sharp and durable.

    • Very Nice CNC Bit – 1/8” Shank
This up cut router (CNC) bit is made from quality materials including solid carbide with a nano blue coating. That means the sharp edge is much harder than most cutting edges, will stay sharp longer, and also run cooler. It’s extremely sharp and has a 1/8” shank, not ¼”. This is not a steel bit with a carbide cutting tip, be forewarned, the spiral section is solid carbide, which means it is much more brittle than steel. But it will stay sharp longer, and for CNC work on wood, melamine, and other similar materials, this is the type of bit you want. Amazon Vine sent this product to me for an honest unbiased review. These just the trick when you need to do some smaller diameter routing for your projects. The upcut design ejects the chips upwards and out from the work piece to make dust/chip collection easier and plunge cuts with ease. So far the quality is fine and they are a good value.

This 1/8 inch up cut CNC carbide router bit is high quality and well made bit. I used it for hard wood carving and it cuts like butter and very clean, the bit has a very good blue Nano coating to reduce heating and keep the tip sharp.
