Fun little gadget. These are easy to set up and come preloaded with a license. There’s lots of information on how to set up in a pool and it’s a fun conversation piece to leave on the desk. It’s unlikely to hit a block with one of these, but it’s a fun for learning about mining.

ships with v 1.8.22 which has a pool bug, so you have to change the pool in config, or flash upgrade to v 1.8.24, which is easier said than done. I couldn't do it. so I returned to amazon. Also it says on item description nerd Miner 2. This is not nerd miner 2, I assure you. So that's deceptive advertisement

I get it. Probably a novelty item and the chances are slim...but it does give you the dream, you may hit the lotto and at worst, it streams the market.. No instructions but you can find them online...probably BS but it's BS with a dream and it's cheap

We love it! Will it ever solve a block? No, but its a great educational tool and conversation piece. And I mean i guess you can never say never. My kids think its cool and I like that it displays the BTC price in real time. Set up was pretty easy once you connect to the device wifi. Make sure you update the BTC address, just in case!

Easy to use and easy to set up, right? No. Not even slightly. These things are advertised all over social media, and they all say just scan the QR code to set up your account, and you're mining. No. Not that easy. You need to log into the backend of your Wi-Fi and go through all the fields to ensure that it is set up accurately. Then, find an address and a port for a pool to mine online, as the ones it comes programmed with do not work. Just avoid this thing. It would be a cute little desk gadget, but it can't even do that right.

Only 3 stars because it is my first miner and absolutely no instructions or how to's included. After 5 youtube university vids, opening 2 bitcoin wallets, 10hrs of trying this and that to mine i am still no sure it's even mining correctly... Huge wtf to figure this out. Lol
