    • Only getting 803 GH, at optimized setting.
Set up was rough. Had to watch a few youtube vids. Initial settings overheated, so reduced to 490mhz, 1000mv after trying other settings. Only getting 983 GH/s. Would need cooling upgrades for advertised GH rate. Otherwise, working fine.

I have 4 different BitAxe gamma 601's all running smooth and by the numbers with stock power supplies. This particular unit decided to fail after about 24 hours at default settings. The magic smoke was set free by some small chiplet on the back side. Probably a faulty power supply or just perhaps a random bad board. I don't know but I contacted Amazon for an exact replacement which already has arrived and has been hashing away for the past few days. Not the fault of this seller..just random bad luck on my part to have one go poof. ... show more

Overheating right out of the box, had to redo the thermal paste and put a better fan on right away.

    • I would like to receive a unit that actually works correctly
Here we go again, another I tried another miner from Amazon. While it is working right now, for the last 3 days, the fan is making a whining sound straight out of the box (I assume it will die soon) and the hash rate is below 1TH/s, so I assume this Amazon unit will die soon, as all the others I got from Amazon. (I hope it is within the return window) On the other hand, the unit I bought at a different site works for the past 4 weeks, fan is quiet and the hash rate is about 1.09 TH/s, no it was not bought in the US. If the unit dies I'll downgrade my review to 1 star. ... show more
