I had pigeons under the eaves of my entrance way. I tried all kinds of things to get rid of them. Nothing worked until I bought these spikes. I cut a piece of 1/4" plywood to fit the area and hot glued these spikes on it, then slid it into place. Feathers were everywhere the next day, but no more pigeons. I can take the plywood down in a couple of weeks and if they return, just put it back up.

I secured these to the top of the an AC unit that birds were perching on and they hate it now. I secured it with strips of double sided exterior sticky tape. Worked great.

These don't work. I plan to return them even though that will be quite annoying to retrieve 100 of these, restack them and repackage them for return. The birds are still trying to build nests in the area where these are and they are building right on top of these. I have a feeling they are not long/tall enough. And they are dense enough the birds are simply continuing to build nests on top of the spikes. I was hoping it was just a matter of the birds learning there are spikes present but over the last 48 hours they are continuing to build more and more. So when these get returned they will be quite dirty because I don't plan to clean 100 ft of these before returning them. I already started tearing down some of the nests before I realized I could add pictures to reviews but I still had some nest debris remaining that I captured in photos for this review. I have 2 I beams supporting the flat roof of my patio. The last couple years the birds have learned they can build nests in the bottom of the I beams. There is 25 ft on each side of each I beam that is about 2" wide. The 2 pictures are of one side of different I beams.

works, raccoons now use a different route, in stead of climbing down the poles. Assembly is easy, size is perfect, and it sure is cheap.

We have been plagued, year after year, by birds nesting on a rafter of the porch roof. Finally, I thought that bird spikes would solve the problem. I ordered these spikes, not really knowing if I had purchased enough of the spikes to do the trick. Well, I should have thought of buying these spikes, because they work tremendously well. The birds are definitely creatures of habit. So, after placing the spikes on the rafter, the birds returned, and even tried to start building a nest. That attempt did not last long, and we have been bird-free since shortly after the installation. I highly recommend this product if you have a flat surface on which you no longer wish to have birds nest. Quick installation and affordable.
