I added this to my X1C to help eliminate heat creap with longer prints. I have a chamber heater in my X1C and heat creap was an issue with prints longer then 15 hours. So far this has eliminated that issue along with the panda jet cover.

Absolute trash the tolerance on this part is off it doesn’t allow the extruding gears to pinch the filament so it will not feed. I bought this and the panda claw and Was disappointed to find out it wasn’t going to work. I could see where the problem was and thought about grinding off a bit of the aluminum so that it would make contact with the filament but it would require more grinding than there is room for without destroying it. The panda claw works well with the stock Extruder but as of now if you have a worn out Extruder case just get another plastic one from Bambu. I run 3 other x1c printers with the claw installed and Micrswiss hot ends hopefully Biq will fix the quality control issues in china because some of these actually work just not in my case but a lot of users are complaining that they are having the same issues. Probably not worth the risk to find out especially after taking apart your printer and reinstalling everything just to find out you got one of the bad ones. Wasted time and money. Won’t order from biq again my 6 printers don’t love Pandas even if Panda’s love Bambu lab. lol

Installed on both an X1C and P1S. Fitment was perfect on both machines and installation was quick and easy! Is the product "lighter" than original... not really, BUT for me this was purchased to help dissipate heat from the toolhead and be a quality of life upgrade for longevity and it defiantly does those two requirements perfectly!!

I wanted a full replacement for my extruder with the brass gears so I ordered this plus the panda claw gear set. I knew it would not come with the filament sensor, but it also doesn't come with the tension spring and adjustment screw. I had to steal it from an old extruder. Either the extruder shell or the panda claw gear set should come with the tensioner spring and screw.
