I don't often leave reviews, but this one is too good not to share! I'm so thrilled with this quilt. I've had MANY coverlets/quilts over the years, and this may be my favorite yet. I haven't bought coverlets on Amazon in the past (Homegoods instead) but I needed an oversized king for our new bed, and I had more options for larger quilts on Amazon. I tried four different ones, and this one FAR exceeded the others. I wanted something cotton and oversized, but I was also really hoping I could find something that felt luxe. This is the ticket! It's absolutely beautiful quality, soft, thick, and has a gorgeous satiny finish. I am thinking about getting a backup just in case anything happened to this one. Also wanted to add that I wanted more of an ivory color, but went with the white (since that's the only option). In our lighting, its a very soft white, so it works. It's so good!! ... show more

i washed this before using it. it did not have a smell. i've been using this for 5 months now, don't see any unusual wear. it seems to be made well. the material has a wrinkly texture. cons: it's fairly thin.

The quality is 5 Star but the softness is 4 Star. It has more of a “tight satin” feel than a soft organic cotton feel. Maybe over time and washing repeatedly it will continue to soften. The color is lovely. I use it as a top cover on the bed and keep my softer cotton quilt under it.

I have yet to wash this "coverlet". It arrived today. It is beyond thin especially for the price & why does a supposedly organic item arrive with an overly powerful CHEMICAL SMELL?
