    • The *perfect* quilt for Florida!!

A little background: I used to live in the Midwest and relocated to Florida last year. Needless to say, our Northern comforters were a bit *much* in the Southern heat/humidity. I have literally been on the hunt for a year, looking for a comforter that checks all the boxes. I've bought super expensive muslin blankets. Super expensive fuzzy Oprah-approved blankets. Middle of the road, lightweight comforters. Affordable knit blankets. NONE of them have worked, except this quilt. THIS QUIILT CHECKS ALL THE BOXES!!! • It's SO lightweight. You can move freely underneath and not feel like you're suffocating to death. • It's SOFT! I've had quilts in the past that weren't soft, or they were really stiff and not pleasant to sleep under. This is soft to the touch but the quilting pattern means it still holds some of its shape instead of draping like a sheet. • It's NOT HOT! I'm one of those weird people who want to sleep with *something* covering them at all times, even in the dead of summer, but I don't want to be hot. This quilt accomplishes that! It keeps me warm and doesn't let the wind from the AC and the multitude of fans blowing seep in like some other blankets. In the week that I've had this, I haven't woken up sweating once. • I love the design on it. I got the square/diamond pattern and it looks awesome. It seems like it will hold up to cat claws/dog nails. • Washing/drying was a breeze. It doesn't take up an ungodly amount of room in either machine nor does it take three hours to dry out because it's so thick/heavy. I've seen some other people complaining or commenting on the length on the side of the bed, like how much hangs down. I think mine is fine. I got a queen-size quilt for a queen-size bed and there's maybe 6-7 inches on each side? Maybe more? I'm terrible with measurements. But it doesn't look weird or like the sizing is off. If you want more of an overhang, size up. I cared more about how it actually functions versus how it looks. The looks are just a bonus to me. TLDR; I LOVE THIS QUILT! If you're on the fence, just buy it! It's worth every penny! ... show more

My current quilt is light weight and not great for cooler months. I bought this to add to my current quilt for warmth. It worked out great! The two quilts together kept us warm when outside temps plummeted below 0. It was nicer quality than I expected and it washes up great. I now use this as our main quilt and keep our old quilt at the end of the bed for those colder evenings. The weight of this quilt is perfect for all seasons as long as you add a layer in the winter but is perfect alone for the other 3 seasons. I'm really impressed with the quality of this quilt, especially for the price (king size). It's lightweight and on the thinner side which is exactly what I wanted. It's very soft to the touch and on first washing it washed very well (and fit in the top load washer just fine). My dog ate the quilt that I used as a bedspread on my antique double 4 poster bed. He never chews things up so it was a shock. Maybe he was trying to tell me that it was time for a change? I live in Las Vegas and it was important to find a cover that is lightweight and washable. Thanks to a review by a lady from Florida I found that this set would be perfect for me. It is attractive, lightweight, and comes down long enough on both sides of the bed to look nice. My previous quilt was short on both sides of the bed and this fits the bed so much better. I have light gray walls in the bedroom with white trim but I ordered the sky blue to put some color in the room. With the matching pillow shams it looks amazing! It looks like I remodeled the whole room. It was a great deal for the price and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase! This is sharp looking. Big enough for a king sized beds, on all sides and corners. Thinner ply. Great for layering or for single use in warmer climates like mine!

Use this bedspread all seasons. It is very light but perfect for any season. Doesnt drag you down or feel heavy on your feet. You can toss around without feeling like a heavy weight is holding you back. Love this spread. When i paint my bedroom again I am getting another color.

Wonderful material and weight, but the pink is actually a peach color. (Two family members both said “oh, peach” upon seeing it, much to my disappointment.) I really wanted a grayish pink/dusty rose, but alas. And I’ve already washed it so there can be no returns. Now my whole color scheme for the room is thrown off.
