This is a very nice, well built, well packaged handgun safe. I looked at several similar, cheaper, "quick access", made in China handgun safes, but poor reviews convinced me to consider this one. I definitely made the right choice. So far it has worked flawlessly. I like having three different methods of entry - a numeric key pad, a biometric finger print scanner, and if all else fails, a physical key. Set up directions were easy to understand and easy to follow, and when I registered this safe for its 1 year warranty, the manufacturer provided a free (and much appreciated) 2 additional years of warranty. Be advised that the emergency key access is on the backside, so depending on how and where this safe is mounted, having to use a physical key may be a real (if not impossible) challenge. Battery access is on the front, which is a nice feature, as is the interior drawer light. I did find it odd that the instruction manual warned against using this drawer safe for the storing of a loaded handgun, when it's clearly advertised to be a quick access handgun safe - liability reasons I suppose. I don't normally submit product reviews, but I'm well pleased with my purchase of this small but heavy, well engineered gun safe. This safe is very nice. I did read a lot of reviews before purchasing. I did have a few concerns before purchasing but after receiving the safe they were all out to rest! This is a great bedside safe. It is very rigid and the mounting bracket is sturdy unlike some people are saying otherwise. One great thing I like is that you can program 20 finger prints. gun safe is well built and heavy easy to install under my shelf near my bed easy to read and follow directions was fast and easy to programm finger print feature and code reader. large enough to store two pistols spare clips and ammo has interior light makes it easy to see items in dim conditions like the battery condition gauge on front panel . very fast draw opening just wish draw would pop out further would defently buy again well worth the money ... show more

This handgun safe is one of the nicest out there but what makes it very useful is the fingerprint reader. Very simple to set it up and works very smoothly and fast. It’s super! I easily fit two Glocks in it but I’m planning to only leave one in there plus a magazine with an ammo box. The blue led inside is a nice feature as well. When you are planning to mount it, be mindful of the key pad in the back to be accessible in the future. You can easily mount this from both sides (top or bottom). It was delivered very fast with a fine package and very useful instruction. It does not come with battery though so you need to have 4 AA batteries in hand to set it up. I don’t know about battery life because I haven’t had it long enough to determine that, but I like the fact that it gives a reading on the front telling the remaining battery life, which I really like. Storage space is sufficient enough for 2 hand guns and clips. It seems like nice quality. Opens easily but not quite far enough out, so you have to pull it out more. Which isn’t a problem but you will want to anchor it down so it doesn’t slide around on you when pulling it out. It’s heavy, but will still slide around more easily then you think. It has a metal plate which is perfect for that. The light inside helps because I keep it at just high enough that I need to stretch a little to reach my gun and being able to see it makes retrieving it simple. ... show more

This is a very nice jewelry and small gun safe. It comes with a very well made set of keys incase you lock yourself out and the finish is well done it's a leather like soft exterior cover. The inside is also finished nicely with a soft cloth wrap. The biometrics take a little time to set up but once completed they work great. My one small complaint is the unit is hard to fasten down because you have to fasten it from the inside of the case and that makes it hard to get a tool on the screws. If you are looking for a safe that can hold some of your most previous jewelries and a small gun then I would recommend trying this safe. ... show more
