The flat iron is good and gets to a good heat level. It’s a little bit hard to hold for long periods of time though. I believe it’s because it’s thick and my hand sometimes gets numb.

This is a fantastic product. I use a flat iron everyday and when my old one stopped working, I was searching all over for a decent replacement. I saw this one and it sounded good but was a little apprehensive since some reviewers said they loved it and others said it stopped working. I am so glad I ordered it because, so far, for the past month it has been great. My hair is also not as staticky and dry as it was before with my old flat iron. It flattens and smooths my hair very well, I like how my hair looks everyday when I'm done. The size is great too because it's not as skinny as a lot of flat irons. I was excited to try this flat iron and determine if this pricey option could do the trick. Sadly, the box was clearly damaged and upon opening the flat iron itself (both the original and the replacement sent to me)had scrapes & scuffs, was missing the various stickers that make it clear it was new, and both were dirty in different ways. If this product is no longer available new, I’d recommended updating the description to clarify it’s used, lower the price, and clean the unit and associated packaging before sending. Ordered on Nov 9, 2021. I don’t use everyday and I’m not a hairstylist who leaves it on all day. Went to use iron on match 21 and it won’t heat up. I truly loved this iron till it stopped working. I guess I should have taken the reviews a little more serious as this seems to be a problem

I have owned the Bio Ionic flat iron for over a month and I really love the size and features. The heating controls and power switch are on the inside which prevents accidental shut off or heat changes. Also, it stays shut and glides easily over your hair. I have a short bob with naturally curly hair and it does a great job straightening. Glad I made the purchase because it helps to get salon look in between visits. My edges have never been flatter when doing my own hair. Buy it! You will end up thanking me in the end. -:) ... show more
