Top Amazon Reviews

  • Very pleased so far. Seems like a great value.
I spent a lot of time researching different bino packs, and had finally settled on the Alaska Guide Creations Kodiak Cub Max. Got on Amazon one day and happened to see this, and noticed it appeared to be an identical design for one-third of the price. After seeing mostly positive reviews, I decided to try it out. I've been pleased with my purchase after multiple uses hunting. My 10x42 Vortex binos fit perfectly. Anything larger would be a snug fit. Lining is a nice soft, quiet material. Outer material seems very durable. Green color looks very nice. Would like to see at least one camo, and a blaze orange option. Front pocket is not practical for storing a range finder due to snug fit and loud zipper. I prefer to clip my range finder on my belt anyway. Side pockets are very small, also have loud zippers, and zipper design is a bit of a design flaw due to being placed in center of the side pockets, making it difficult to get anything in or out of them. Back pocket functions well for storing flat items like licenses, etc. The top elastic sleeve is a very snug fit. My iphone 12 mini (in an Otterbox case) barely fits, and is difficult to insert/remove from the sleeve. The shoulder harness functions well, but materials seem chincy. Not much shoulder padding, but it hasn't caused me any discomfort. Interested to see how that part holds up. I could see needing to replace it eventually. I am 5' 7" 150 lbs and had to max out the vertical adjustment to get the pack to ride high enough on my chest but was able to get it to fit like I wanted. Side adjustments still had plenty of slack left over. It has elastic loops you can use to hold the excess strap material in place, which has worked well so far. Plastic buckles are very loud when snapping into place, but I've found the pack very easy to put on/take off by just unbuckling the 2 side buckles and lifting the pack up & over my head. Overall, I give this 4 stars based on a good but not great design, due to a few design flaws mentioned above. However, strictly based on value compared to competitors, it's absolutely worth a 5 star rating. ... show more

  • Ranger finder po ket could be better
Ranger finder pocket is a bit small and I wish it wasn't a zipper pocket. Its loud and there isn't a quick quiet way to keep it closed and re open without worry of it falling out.

  • Great chest pack
I use this with a set of 10x50 athlons. I really like the extra pockets as well as the bullet loops in the front pocket which fits my range finder perfectly. The top cover completely incloses the bino pouch and doesn't allow anything foreign material to get on your binos. The only drawback to the pack is the shoulder straps. They use a material to wrap the edges and it chafes my neck. Not a huge deal, I just pull my t shirt up a little but thats its only drawback. ... show more

  • Worth the Money
Considering other harnesses can cost a small fortune (i.e. Sitka), this one performs well for the price. The closing mechanism can be a little clumsy as it involves a loop going over a metal hook. A magnetic closure would be nice but as I mentioned, that is something found on higher-end products.

  • Great Binocular Chest Pack
Finally, a binocular chest pack that fits my needs. I have tried 4 other chest packs and found them all wanting, either the binocular pocket is to small or way to big, the harness is to big to get a tight fit on the chest area (binoculars end up down at the waist after only a short walk). This pack fits tight to the chest and the binocular pocket is just the right size for my 7x42 binoculars (can also fit my 10x42 in case without any trouble). The front pocket is perfect for my Leupold range finder and I can keep my cell phone handy in the back pocket. Smaller size pockets on sides can be used for extra ammo or some hard candies. Needless to say I am very pleased with this harness pack, can't wait to get in the field for archery season. ... show more

  • Same bino pack as the big names
I can't say this enough me and my wife loved our bino pack used on our September archery hunt. Light weight and quite. Plus the straps will go big enough to wear over a jacket I'm 6'1" 220lbs and with a t-shirt I had to pull the straps all the way up. It is 100% the same pack as the vortex one for $130 (trust me my cousin had to have name brand every thing ) would absolutely buy again and I absolutely recommend ... show more

  • Nice!
Bino pouch is nice, straps are nice, but the side pockets with the zipper in the middle…Not the greatest idea.

  • Don’t Waste Your Money Elsewhere
I was skeptical at first, and was researching other bino harnesses that cost 3x the price. What came down to it was it being a small, veteran owned business, and it’s only $40… Glad I order it. Light, compact, nice zippers, sturdy, holds my 12x50 Atibal Apex perfect, and hold my Bushnell rangefinder (rangefinder is a little snug). For $40, this piece of equipment can’t be beat for price / quality. I look forward to trying more of their products in the future. ... show more
