  • works decently with RDS but I have not fired it yet at night
Just got mine today. it is good to go. it works with a SLX green chevron fine provided the brightness is turned down and provided you do not run the IR flood. I normally run an eotech 5 magnifier behind the SLX but I have to take it off when using the NGV50. also, I have to cant it about 30 degrees to get a nice sight picture but it is no big deal. the 18350s that come with it are 1540 mAu I think. looks like 1500 is the closest out there for backups. you can only charge one at a time with the provided charger so I might look into another charger as well. ... show more

  • Perfect for REALISTIC use
Compared to a gen 3 pvs14, This thing is solid for the price, it does have subtle lag with rapid movements when using both eyes, but when using one eye its not noticeable. Onboard ir is good, but if you use the wide angle lense mod for it it blocks the ir emitter. Itll do just fine for what you need it to do, despite what the pvs14 larpers and ww3 fantasizers say. ... show more

  • DISPAPPOINTED, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ITEM.
ok guys HERE WE GO my review, and after one month I have had some issues... 1st and foremost the IR light will not turn off completely, it flickers and goes dull but still stays on after you attempt to turn it off. The batteries went bad after a few charges, and I ordered new ones from amazon. The IR function for night vision works ok,until you try to turn it off as I mentioned. .I expected better than this. I wonder what else is going to fail at this point.. ... show more

  • Best Night Vision at this price point
After extensive research on quality/price of various analogue/digital Night Visions available in the market, I finally made the decision to get this NVG50 from Binock. Very impress with the image quality/built. There are many parts for helmet/rail mounting that comes in the box, and installation instructions are only from the videos uploaded in the item description page. I'm fine with it since I will do not have any requirement to mount it. The built appears water-proof and very durable akin to military specification. Overall, happy with purchase! ... show more

  • Get an analog NV
This is basically an expensive toy. The video lag is nauseating. So you really need to stay out to use this thing and is had terrible low light sensitivity.

  • Works as should. Good company to buy from
Had some minor issues. But the Company was very quick to help resolve. Good night vision unit and very good folks to deal with. I’d buy again. And may do so!

  • No mount assembly instructions, and bad batteries
The potentional here is large as I genuinly believe for the money binock is as good as you will get sub $600. Now the negatives… the manual is atrocious, there is no info on the mounts or extra pieces so I sat there guessing if I was assembling it correctly for a helmet. I still don’t know what the other plates are used for, and there is a small piece too that i can find no use for. A simple helmut assembly instruction or part identebtifier would be great such as (rifle mounting plate, helmet mounting plate, blah blah). Next the quality control is also bad, items were forced on the box and one of my bags was ripped when o opened. It made me feel like this was a rush job. Take some time to package properly…. The second eye piece cover I am not sure what that is even for, is that just an alternative? My helmet had a better eye cover with the standard one. Last complaint is my battery charger is broke and/or my batteries. They don’t work, but I got to work using a usb power brick. I ordered new batteries from Amazon, but I would like replacement battery and charger… after all these complaints though like i said as far as device and quality of the device, I don’t believe there is any better alternative at this price point. As long as my new batteries and chargers work, I’ll be happy with the product overall. ... show more

  • Not very good
This product arrived used. Which is unfortunate but not why this product is one star. It is because it is not what all the YouTubers and influencers have said it is. It is actually no better than anything out there. For 500 dollars you should save yourself some money and just get something for cheaper. I tried to return it and it was also a hassle. So now I regret buying this and get to keep it. Yippee. ... show more
