This is a very beautiful set. I broke my very functional carafe so I searched for a more decorative carafe and found this set. It is attractive enough to leave on the counter and works as intended, but a few items of note. First, it does feel fragile. While handling and cleaning it, I am continually telling myself to not knock it against anything. And like with many carafes, you will need to use a bottle brush unless you have a small hand. Second, do not bother using the complimentary filters sent with the set. Someone else mentioned this and I agree. There is a high failure rate on the filters, and you will end up with a carafe of coffee grounds. And third, the filter size...I'm not sure what to tell you. We have several cones and we use the Hario V60 02 filters. I compared the complimentary filter to the Hario filter, and they are not the same size. Perhaps this should be considered a Size 01. I fold the 02 for use in this cone; see photos. ... show more

This is a pretty pour over but proceed with caution. The drain hole is far too big and your filters break open from the weight and wet, giving you a wonderful cup of grounds mud. Im running out of time on a return but believe its in the near future...very disappointing! I should have stuck with the white ceramic Melitta cone and pot...le sigh. 5/20/2023 update...filter just broke yet again...im checking on a return/refund now. ... show more

This pour over coffee set is beautiful coming out of the box. The glass has a pretty pattern, and the filter top has a nice wooden base. I will say that the pot opening is a bit small to get my hand in to dry it (and I have slender hands). It also doesn’t come with any filters. I just used what I had on hand, which happened to be the flat bottom kind, and it worked fine, you just have to mold the filter to fit. I’m an old hand at pour over coffee, so no instructions wasn’t a problem, and google is pretty useful. It also comes with a lid with a silicon seal that helps keep the coffee warm in the pot. I also use it to put the filter top on after brewing to catch any last drips. Overall, this is very nice set that would look great on any coffee bar. ... show more

I love this coffee maker! It is made of beautiful materials and great craftsmanship. It makes great coffee and I love the way it looks too. Rhe only one thing is that I wish it had had at least 1 coffee filter in the box. I had to wait to go out and buy some filters. Otherwise, I love this!     • Missing instructions and vital disposables

I was very excited to get ahold of one of these pour over brewers, but as a fledgling coffee enthusiast, I felt a few minutiae were missing from this product, which if included, would have made my experience much better. First, this brewer did not come with any instructions or recommendations. I had to look up online how to brew with this. It would have made a huge difference for my first impression to have some well-written instructions included. Second, the brewer didn't come with any filters of either style. I purchased a similar brewer from Brim, (ASIN B07H5PK14V, it was $15.56 when I bought it), which included both a pack of starter paper filters and a reusable metal filter. I feel like for the price of this brewer, it should have also included at least some starter filters (or at bare minimum told me what size to purchase). If you're wondering, this takes size 02 filters AKA v60 filters. Don't get the flat-bottom cone filters, those will fail, you will need the cone filters with pointed tips. Those complaints aside, I do find this brewer quite pleasant to look at. If I were to purchase another, I would definitely go with the Brim brewer, as it has proper instructions (with tasting notes!) and includes everything you need to get started. This is a beautiful looking pour over setup! I recently broke one of my ceramic ones, so this was a nice replacement for it! Package came without any instructions. Not a big deal for me since I'm a coffee snob and I know what I'm doing. But for those that are new to pour over, get ready to google! The glass is super nice quality. The top and bottom match perfectly. The carafe APPEARS to be double walled, but I can't tell for sure. Either way, it is much thicker than my other similarly sized carafe, which means it holds heat a LOT longer! The wood holder for the cone is really cool. Looks amazing with the gray glass. Appears to be solid wood. The rubber grommet does a good job of holding the glass cone in place. It is easy to remove the cone for cleaning though. The cone supports a Size 02 filter. I already have like 1000 of them, so I was glad to see they were compatible. The listing says the pour over rig comes with a reusable filter. False, it does not! You must have your own paper filters in order to make this actually brew coffee...unless you like drinking mud. One star off for false information in the listing, which is a shame. Overall I love this pour over, does a great job and is a worthy replacement for my other broken one. Wish I could give it 5 stars! ... show more

My first cup was only good, but my second cup of coffee was amazing! This works well and holds enough for 2 decent-sized cups of coffee. I love that it’s easy to take apart. Although not the biggest fan of the ridges on the inside, while it makes it pretty it also makes cleaning a bit more annoying.
