Ok use this a lot and pumps really quickly filled several pools , and you will want to buy more hose I know it can pump up to 300 feet easy , and moves water quickly definitely worth the money I spent great quality! If living in a high elevation do not buy this pump. You will need a high altitude kit to make it run. We contacted the company to get the kit and they said it was in manufacturing and when available they would let us know. It’s been over 2 weeks with no response. We did finally get the high altitude kit and the pump is working good now.

The Bilt Hard pump is awesome. Starting with great packaging, instructions, and all you need to start. Including the engine oil and funnel. The things I noticed were attention to detail. Like the gas cap with a chain, and a filter in the gas tank. All the identification for throttle, shut off, choke are clear so no confusion. The pump initially started on the 3 pull. Then the 1st or 2nd pull when hot. Keys to assemble; 1) to install the intake clamp into the intake hose. Boil water and soak the end for at least 5 minutes. 2) the intake hose will need some bending and stretching straighten out. 3) it will take a gallon plus of water to initiallly prime the pump. Never run dry or you risk damage to seal. Everything else is easy. Great suction power and smooth running engine. Plenty of power. The frame around the engine is isolates any vibration when running the pump.

The hose assembly was extremely difficult. Green hose does NOT fit on the fitting without fighting. BLUE HOSE WAS FULL OF HOLES AND SPRAYED EVERYWHERE. Can’t contact seller without a bot. Don’t buy this unless you’re really into frustration.

This has been a really decent motor and pump so far I purchased it and while it was being shipped out to me I had a heart attack and a triple bypass and one week after my surgery I was able to lift this motor onto my trailer hook it up and all the fluids and with one pull start it started right up.. now I don't recommend anyone do this after having open heart surgery but I needed to use it and no one was around to judge me LOL.. I've used this machine about 20 times now and it fires up either on the first pull or second pull every time.. most of the time it's on the first Pull unless I have not tughed it hard enough.. it has really good pressure pumping water I can empty a thousand gallons in about 7 minutes with it.. I recommend this pump just for ease of use and setup alone..
