DO NOT buy this piece of junk! I challenge those who think otherwise (and the splitter suddenly stops) to return and submit your mistake. They will charge you $400 to return it. They will tell you to take your splitter to the nearest small engine shop.

This splitter is a great choice if you process your own firewood. It saved me a lot of effort compared to splitting logs by hand. The build quality feels solid, and it has handled both dry and seasoned wood well. For the price, I think it offers excellent performance and has been well worth the investment.
