Lots of choices, I chose this one due to its simplicity. No excess frame arms, endless mounting options. Just easy 4 point mounting, all bolts supplied. Right out of the box, bolted to 4 points. Zero adjustment needed. Height is adjustable but it was perfectly set out of box. It is a nice mix of small, strong & lightweight, 2lbs. Big racks to me are a burden, only needed this for a trunk bag, tool bag option, occasional carrier for a store trip. Looks great, weighs nothing, plenty strong - simple design - fair price. Very well made solid rack. Fits my Giant Cypress bike perfectly. It has practically endless adjustment possibilities, so I belive it would fit any bike out there.

I'm not sure how to comment on the design of this rack. There are many racks with a wide variety of designs. The main differences are in the strength of the material and the attachment points. We've used racks that are lightweight and plenty strong enough but have flimsy or poorly designed attachment points. This rack weighs about 2lbs (I weighed it at 1.8 lbs without any screws, brackets, or reflectors; the product narrative says it weighs 2.18 lbs) and is very obviously robust attachment arms, yet it is rated at only sixty pounds. So, it isn't a flimsy rack (or in the heavy duty category), but it is made of very sturdy material, so I consider it pretty robust for its lower carrying capacity. When we were kids, we used to ride friends on the back with no problem and I don't think we had stronger racks than this one! Which brings me to the attachment points. This rack seems to be as strong as any rack I've owned, and yet other racks on Amazon come with higher weight ratings. I can't figure it out. I think since this rack only attaches at four points (two each side), it will only be as strong as those attachment points will allow, which must be the explanation. But, while there are racks that have more arms to attach to the bike, this rack's design is pretty standard. So I'm not advocating for using this rack beyond its weight rating, but for what appears to me to be a standard rack that is better made than most, I'm quite confident in it for "standard" use. I do love how the attachment arms all pivot and extend to allow this rack to fit many configurations. I have not yet put it on my bike, but I have "dry fitted it," and it was this feature that made it easy for me to adapt it to my bike.

The media could not be loaded. This is a bicycle rack that I am very impressed with. Not only does this rack fit my particular situation perfectly, but it's attention to detail in both design and construction has me very pleased. What caught my attention first and foremost with this was how easily adjustable this was to fit a variety of sizes of bicycles, and doing so in a well thought out and aesthetically pleasing way. Not only does this fit a variety of bicycles based on their wheel size, this appears as though it would fit on a variety of bicycles based also on their design. The quality of the welds is excellent, the painted finish, whether by paint or powder coating, is complete and nicely applied, and the hardware for attaching it appears to be of stainless steel. There are no sharp edges or any misaligned components. The features for adjusting the rack to fit a particular bicycle are easy to use and adjustment was precise. For my particular application, which was a bit unique, you can see my video for details of how I modified this. This modification required cutting and shortening two of the mounting brackets which gave me a look at the inside of the supports, and the thickness and quality of these parts normally not seen was as good as the outside. After modifying this rack and mounting it to my wife's recumbent tricycle, I could not be happier, and am even more impressed with this product. I can highly and wholeheartedly recommend this for your bicycle, and if you happen to have a unique situation like an adult trike, check out my video and buy this rack. It has worked out perfectly.

I really like this rack. It's got plenty of room for adjustment to fit various sized bikes. I installed on a 700c gravel bike with disc brakes and rack mounts. I had no issues fitting the rack to size and the included bolts were the correct thread pitch for my mounts. The rack is sturdy and seems to stay in place well. My pack fit perfectly and was able to be secured to the tray without issue. If I had to note any concern at all it would be the arms that attach to the seat stays are locked down using bolts and compression against the rounded surface of the rod. Over time, I can see the possibility of those twisting, loosening, or wearing down. Had those arms been machined with a flat surface, the bolts may secure them in place a little better but I see why it was done this way for adjustability and universal fitment. I added some rubber washers in between the frame and rack where it bolts on near the rear axle to help prevent wearing the paint down.
