Great bike cargo carrier, the mount is secure and does not budge and the cargo rack can be adjusted by sliding it forward or back and securing the position with 2 set screws. I also like the upward angle, fits my bike perfectly making the carrier absolutely horizontal. However, I do wish there was a place/way to mount a rear light/reflector. I will just have to fabricate something myself. For the price, this was a great buy.

This quality of this bike cargo rack seems decent and it is easy to install, lightweight and works well. Note, to make this review as concise as possible I have split it into sections with a header for each. • Quality I looked over this cargo rack carefully and the quality seems decent to me; the black finish looks nice, the metal feels suitably strong, and I didn’t see any flaws with the build quality. • Ease of installation This cargo rack is relatively easy to install and only takes a few minutes. All you need to do to install this rack is (1) unscrew and open the clamp on the rack that goes around the seat post of the bike, then (2) close the clamp around the seat post of the bike but don’t tighten it all the way, then (3) place two of the included rubber spacers between the front side of the clamp and seat post, (4) place the other two rubber spacers between the back side of the clamp and the seat post, (5) then tighten the quick release clamp until snug. Then optionally, loosen the two Allen bolts on the bottom of the cargo rack and slide the rack as far back as it will go (or position it wherever you want) then retighten those two Allen bolts. And that is it. • Weight I weighed this cargo rack on a digital scale and it is relatively light. It weighs 488 grams (1.07 lb). It is important to remember that because this is a lightweight rack its weight carrying limit is limited to 20 lb (which seems reasonable for a seat post supported cargo rack). • Function To test this rack out I put a “14-Can Golf Cart Expandable Cooler Bag” on it and used the included stretchy cord and spring loaded tie to secure it to the rack. To secure it to the rack I wrapped the cord around the lower front of the rack, up through the D rings on the side of the bag and then back down around the back of the rack and then secured both ends of the cord through the spring loaded tie. I then pushed the bag around (left, right, front, back) and it felt secure so I rode around with the bag on the back and it worked great. The bag stayed in place and I didn’t even notice it. One important tip I should share is the fact that the stretchy cord comes with a plastic clip on the end of the cord which prevents it from being pulled out of the spring loaded tie. I found that limited how I could use the cord so I simply cut the clip off the end of the cords and then used a match to burn the ends of the cord to keep them from fraying. I found this setup made the cord much more versatile and I could still fit both ends of the cord through the spring loaded tie which made it easy to pull the cord tight around whatever I was securing to the rack. • Conclusion So that basically covers it and the bottom line for this cargo rack is the quality of the rack seems decent, it is relatively easy to install, it is lightweight (1.07 lb) and works well at carrying a small to medium amount of stuff (up to 20 lb). In addition the included stretchy cord and spring loaded tie work well at securing item(s) to the rack. Hope that helps. Thanks,

This rack is advertised as being quick-release. I would say it is not. In order to install it, one has to hold the rack, position the bolt washer between two parts of the rack, and tighten the bolt. Which takes three hands to do easily, and is a real pain in the *** with two hands. And the bolt has to be backed way off to remove the rack, and then it takes dozens of turns to retighten it when installing the rack. I would not plan on using this rack if you want quick removal and installation. If you want to leave it on my guess is that it would be okay. Doesn't work for me. The one redeeming feature, which earned it two stars instead of one, is that the rack itself can be rotated on the mount to accommodate different mounting angles. I was hoping to use this feature, but the mounting hardware does not work for any tube larger than a seat tube, so that was a no go too. The rack sits on a shelf now.
