Glued this to my Garmin 1030 which had its clips broken off. (glue not included) Have almost 1000 miles on it now and it's holding up great. Recommend a two part epoxy rather than a crazy glue / equivalent.

    • Add an adhesive
It didn't come with an adhesive. I first mounted it without an adhesive only to later have it come off my Garmin Varia. I applied some epoxy and all if fine now. I didn't want to spend the money for a new light from Garmin even after the credit they were willing to give to apply towards a new light. I'm a bit of a weight weenie and the mount adds extra width to the mount than I'd like. But it's a great price point option offering a good recycle method than tossing a perfectly functional light. My only complaint is with Garmin. Their mounts keep breaking after a couple of years. I wish they would make the mount replaceable on all their products. ... show more

It snapped on me when I was just tighten the first screw, does not worth it, go a buy one with a decal on the back!

    • Just what I was looking for
Nothings worse than breaking your Garmin. Thankfully they created this part. I added a little hot glue around the base for extra security. It’s been several month and still no issues.

Saved my bacon on both my Garmin. Works as described, I added some hot melt and that helped it along. Great kit ! Recommend it.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. I just applied a bit of epoxy to the base and attached this part. It isn't going anywhere.
