When the status indicator stops flashing and the file name in the Micro SD card is renamed to "FIRMWARE.CUR" then update sucessfully. Note: Our control board come without SD card.

Installed this board on a DIY core XY printer I've been building for a while. So far this works fantastic. I already had some TMC 2226 drivers so I'm using those instead of the EZ drivers. Previously I have installed an SKR 1.3 and an SKR 1.4 turbo into my other two printers. This new SKR 3 EZ is the best of all of them so far. The fans are pretty easy to set up. I found the Chris Riley YouTube video on this board most helpful for setting up this board. I referred to Chris's video a lot to get this working. So pretty straightforward and not much different than setting up the other BTT SKR boards. I can't say much about how it prints as I'm still getting my printer set up. So far I have been able to get the sensorless homing working and test all the functions and it all seems to be working very well. I'll update on how well it prints after I print some stuff.

I upgraded my Monoprice Maker Select V2 with this board and some TMC2208's. Not recommended for this printer, the stock MSV2 screen isn't directly compatible (get the LCD bundle), the mounting holes don't quite line up, and you need to dremel a hole in the control box for the USB port. Some of the cables needed connectors attached to fit, but this kit does come with the plugs to fit on. Last but not least, the stepper motors are near silent now! No more constant whining. The loudest part of my setup is now the blower fans, and occasionally the print bed axis when it moves fast.

Hello, I purchased the SKR_2 Motherboard. Both Tony and Peter at BigTreeTech customer service have been great. I did have a problem with the control board, and after a few E-mails back and forth with with some video's and pictures to validate test results, the guys at Big tree tech sent me out a new board. It arrived earlier than promised. It really says something about a company that stands by it's products with such great customer service. Especially in such a global situation, where these boards are used to control machines in environments that have so many different variables. Top Marks to the guys at BIGTreeTech!

This board is a pleasure to work with! I use it on both an Ender 5+ and an Ender 3 pro, and love being to enable just about every feature in marlin. :) Important note: as with any board, it is -VERY- important that you do not plug in and unplug stepper motors while the board is energized. You are likely to blow the stepper drivers and/or the board the very first time you try it!

I'm pulling my hair out. This thing will not recognize any SD card that I use, regardless of the format. It HAS to be the board itself. Searching the issue, it seems pretty common. Eventually bent some pins in the readed and got it going long enough to install USB firmware.

I absolutely love this board in my ender 3 with dual Z motors. Was going to get another and they disappeared without a trace. What happened?? Not sure. I ordered the SKR 2 instead. Hopefully I like that one just as much.
