Features

  • Multi-printers ControlBTT Panda Touch enables simultaneous control and monitoring of 10 Bambulab printers ranging from P1/X1 to A1 series. We've developed multiple group control techniques which allow you to set one printer as a master and other as followers, or to set each printer as its own master. If you have more than one Bambu machine, then Panda Touch will give you the fine-grained group control you've been looking for.
  • Firmware V1.0.7Please update the firmware of your panda touch to V1.0.7 for better user experience (download from Github: bigtreetech/PandaTouch/tree/master/Firmware). 2 main new features are added on V1.0.7--1) Skip Objects Support: allow you to skip objects during the print process. 2) Filament drying: add filament drying functionality specifically for P1S. Explore more functions with V1.0.7!
  • CompatibilityPanda Touch(V1.0.7) is compatible with Bambu-Lab(=BL) printers firmware versions up until: P1P/S>01.07.00.00, A1/A1 Mini>01.04.00.00, X1C>01.08.02.00, X1E>01.01.02.00. Some features of X1C/X1E may be affected by the authorization mechanism of BL, but you can remain them in Lan-developer mode (Check btt wiki web for details). We will monitor all beta firmwares of BL printers and get you informed via our social channel. Warr-anty DOES NOT cover function lost by a firmware update.
  • Plug and PlayBTT Panda Touch is a 5-inch touchscreen upgrade kit with a similar look and feel to the original X1C screen. Just 2 main steps: dock installation and wiring can make your Bambulab P-series printers perform just as great as the X-series! • Crisp and Responsive
Style: Panda Touch
A few months ago I built my own remote printer monitor using an open source software called xTouch. The reality is I ended up never using it because the screen quality was really poor and I didn't want to invest a bunch of time and money trying to build something better. You can see the devices together in one of my photos for comparison. Then I discovered the Panda Touch. At first I wasn't really sure it was for me because folks often buy it as an upgrade to the P1P or P1S. I decided to buy one and try it for myself when I discovered that it supported all Bambu printers and even multiple printers at the same time. What I love! I use the Panda Touch on my work desk as a way to monitor my A1 Mini and my X1C. It has a very clean and crisp display making it is really easy to read. It is also a touch screen that is highly responsive and may even be a tad more responsive than the display on the X1C. I prefer purpose built and dedicated devices over all of the switching apps on my phone or PC. With the Panda I never have to open my phone and wait for the Bambu Handy app to load just so I can check the progress of a print. I can just tap the screen if it has gone to sleep. (Which is a configurable setting) It is a completely frictionless and familiar experience. It feels like I detached my X1C display and am now able to use it with both of my printers. (This device has a magnetic attachment to its base, so you can even detach it and run it wireless for up to 30 minutes) I have been using the device for about a week and I have found that I can monitor and control nearly everything for both printers. The display is a huge upgrade over the A1 Mini so I use it to configure my filament types and colors. The larger screen makes it easier to work with and the navigation options feels similar to my X1C display. The setup process is very well done and will automatically discover your printers once connected to your Wifi network. Any errors or warning that I would normally see on the printers show up on the Panda Touch so I don't have to get out of my chair to see what might be going on when I hear a machine stop printing. They include a little ducky in the box! Print from USB: One feature I have not yet tried is printing directly from USB. They included a USB port and this capability directly into the device. I was talking with my local library about this because they have a need to print from USB and The A1 Mini does not have a USB port. I don’t know that I will personally use this feature, but it is a great bonus feature and for some may be exactly the feature they need. Tips: The device shipped with an older firmware. I looked up how to update it was so easy I was able to update it via the browser on my phone. I have never had a device firmware update that was this easy before. Hopes for future firmware enhancements: I would like to be able to select the filament pressure setting since I have done the filament calibrations for some of my most used filaments and I am able to select it on the printers. I would also love to see an image of what is printing on the home screen. I love that feature on the printer displays. ... show more

  • Worth every penny and much more!
Style: Panda Touch
I can’t believe they charge 55 bucks for this. It’s insane! I would pay 3-4 times the price for it. It works so great with my p1s. It is super easy to install and connect to the printer. The newest update is awesome too! It brought a bunch of new features that are awesome! Temp and humidity readouts, reprint/skip features, filament drying mode! That alone will save you the price you would normally spend on a filament dryer. I can’t say enough good things about this. I found an awesome print online to use for a swiveling mounting option right over the original controller. It’s even magnetic mounted and with the battery powered option you can grab it from the printer and take it with you around the house to monitor/control everything. When on the mount it’ll be charging straight from the onboard usb port on the printer. It has power control upgrade options too. It comes with a nice mounting bracket too but I like the look of mine. You can’t see the old control panel unless you swivel it up. That’s great too because you can’t always use the original controls if you want to for certain things without having to disconnect or do anything to the panda touch. It’s a must have for bambu p1 series. ... show more

  • Doesn't work with Bambu Lab prints that are on the latest firmware.
Style: Panda Touch
I worked great until I updated my Bambu Lab P1S to the latest firmware which made the Panda Touch USELESS. If I want to use the Panda Touch I need to roll back my printers firmware version. Losing out on upgrades and bug fixes. Sorry, not interested. This is not a problem with Panda Touch, but with Bambu Lab. I've only had it eight months and feel it was an expensive 8 months. DON'T BUY IF YOU PLAN ON UPGRADING YOUR Bambu Lab Printers. ... show more

  • Did not work out-of-box, your phone is a better controller for the printer
Style: Panda Touch
I purchased this product because the non-touchscreen controller for the BambuLab P1P printer is very basic and I wanted something with more functionality to control the printer without needing to use the phone. Even though the Panda Touch is physically nice, it did not work well for me at all. When I tried to move the extruder head using the touch screen as the controller, the head did not move. Seems like most of the commands I entered into the touch screen were not responsive. I read online that I need to download some firmware to a USB drive and update the screen's firmware. It really should work out of the box or it should have an easy way to update wirelessly; that is already too cumbersome for a brand-new product. I understand that BambuLab is not third-party-device friendly so the printer may have breaking updates in the future, and it will be a pain to need a frequent firmware update. Also, the touch screen should show more information about the ongoing print - at least show the camera feed of the ongoing print. It does not have a way to unload/load filament either, so you'd still need to use the non-touch printer controller for that. Ultimately, using the BambuLab app on your phone is a way better experience - I can entirely control the printer from my phone so I don't see much benefit to having this touchscreen if it will be unreliable. ... show more

  • Awesome Addition
Style: Panda Touch
Great product and addition for my P1S. Easy set up. I will say, when you insert the USB cable into the printer, make sure you seat it all the way. I didn't realize mine wasn't and after a short time the display shut off because the battery died. When I went through checking everything, I saw that way too much of the USB was sticking out. Pushed it in harder and the display lit up. ... show more
