My kid was thrilled to receive this fitness tracker watch. She loved the looks of it and was excited to explore all of the features. I was not thrilled that it required an app to set up and that the app asks for personal information about my child: name, gender, age, height, and weight to set up the child's account. The app was pre-set to use the metric system which added another challenge to setting up an account. Initially, my child required assistance to don the watch so that it would fit well. She had trouble getting the band tight enough for the the watch to measure her heart rate and blood oxygen. She was able to work the touch screen and did not discover the games until I asked about them. There are 3 games on the watch and I love that they were not easily discover-able. Her only complaint about the watch was that it is that the face is not scratch resistant. She has a few small scratches after wearing it a few days. Overall, we like this watch as a watch. We aren't interested in setting fitness goals or tracking health stats, especially not our child's weight. Our kid didn't explore the fitness modes even though she enjoyed tracking her step count. She has opted not to wear the watch at night. The first night, the watch lit up every time she moved and she did not sleep well. The sleep tracker results indicated she slept well and she did not agree. I was impressed with the alarm as it vibrated enough to wake our girl. We did figure out how to change the settings so that it will not light up automatically with wrist movement. However, she just doesn't want to wear it to bed. ... show more

My kiddo has been fascinated by my smart watch and asking for one of his own for awhile. This looked like a great option. He enjoys checking the time and just having it on.

I got this for my toddler who has recently developed a fascination with everything that mommy does and wears on her wrist, e.g. step counter. I am not thrilled that this needed an app, but I have a spare phone just for all the non-essential apps. Once downloaded, set-up was straight forward, but my kid is only using the watch and step counter function. It also uses a magnetic charger rather than usb. Takes a little while to get set up. I ended up having to pair it with my tablet because it wouldn't work with my son's fire tablet. He absolutely loves it. I love that it doesn't have too many features because I like him to actually explore the world. It does just enough that he feels like an adult. My son loves this watch. I was happy that it didn't have TOO much content in it. A couple little games, no camera, no web browser, etc. Perfect! I don't want a mobile entertainment system on my kid's wrist all day long, and I certainly don't want him snapping photos who-knows-where. It tells time, tracks steps and calories, and he can use it to log exercise. Just the things I wanted without anything extra. One thing that I'm not too happy about (and this is why I dinged it one star) is that it never seems to be able to give a live heart rate. I'm not sure if the sensor doesn't work well, or if it's just not programmed to show a live reading. All I've ever seen for heart rate is a peak, min, and a bar chart per hour. But I haven't mentioned any of this to him, and he hasn't noticed and doesn't care. So, like I said in the headline: It's not a Fitbit, but it's a cute watch and good enough for a 9-year-old. The only other thing worth mentioning is that the screen does seem to turn off annoyingly fast, and I haven't yet found a setting to change that. ... show more

My 12 year old has been the one using this. It wouldn’t connect to his device as the app wasn’t available for him (on an Amazon fire tablet of all things, he does not have a cell phone) so I’m knocking off one star for that. The features all seem to work as specified though I have not doubled checked to verify things such as heart rate or oxygen. It tracks his sleep and for him that’s been helpful. He loves the color and that he can change the faces like I can on my Apple Watch. It holds a charge for several days, and is quick to charge fully and it’s pretty tough if my kid hasn’t broken it yet! All in all not a bad watch for a younger child but I know he’s wanting one that connects to HIS device not mine. ... show more

nice inexpensive watch for my son who wanted one 'like dads' - its a bit big on him as a 5yo, but still fits him mostly, and has plenty of room to grow into it. This is a good watch for him as it will pair to my phone so I can see the data and also use it to locate him. Screen is sharp and fairly responsive but the crown doesn't seem to do much which is much to the dismay of my son who wants to scroll with it. it has heart rate, steps, and even blood oxygen which mine doesn't have. has a couple games but they run pretty slow. 2048 is a nice game for it. has a special magnetic charger which is nice to keep it waterproof but if I lose it, I dont know if I can get a replacement.     • Cute watch that broke in two hours

Gave this watch to my 6 year old nephew and the band broke within two hours. This is probably not due to a manufacturing defect but because he was wrestling with his older brother and it probably got grabbed and twisted. While it lasted my nephew had a great time with it though. He quickly tired of the puzzle games and saw absolutely no need for the fitness trackers. lol, kids. I would recommend to the company that they consider selling this watch with an extra band included, since its geared towards kids. 4 stars ... show more
