  • 9 year watch upgrade review
Color: Black
Incredible watch as usual! I am now 2 weeks with this watch from my previous Garmin Forerunner 735xt. The watch is certainly large but not too big for someone with skinny wrists. The light is huge! I use it on a daily basis and the new available activities is a large improvement. One thing I recommend is to turn the brightness to the lowest setting as it will add 2-3 days of battery life and is still plenty visible (I turn it up if I'm in the direct sunlight for an activity). ... show more

  • Quality/ performance 10/10
Color: Black
Best thing I could have purchased if you’re deciding on the forerunner 965,570, or 55 or even the fénix 8 just get the 970 it’s the best of all of them you have all the tracking you need and metrics but if you’re looking at just battery life you won’t be able to tell the difference I still just plug in this watch for 30 minutes and easily have a full 14 days of battery it easily it syncs up to my phone super convenient and the sleep tracking has me have a better sleep pattern ... show more

  • A worthy successor
Color: Black
Nicest Forerunner I've ever worn. Coming from a Forerunner 655 Solar. The screen is beautiful. When always on display is enabled, there's a meaningful battery life hit, but the battery charges quickly. Quick satellite finds, even around tall buildings. Definitely worth the upgrade, and does all the smartwatch stuff as well. ... show more

  • Classassy professional woman 40+yo. Got the white band
Color: White
Replaced my Fenix 6S Pro bc my paces and tracking were not precise. This beast is a boss and works PERFECTLY. Tracking, pacing in the city, burbs, paved paths, and trail running in cell dead zones. Stop looking. Buy it. 40+ yo woman, professional, mom, runner. The yellow on inside of the white band is subtly sassy. The watch has a GREAT clean professional vibe that I’ve worn to work (as a business owner), board meetings, trail running, while cleaning out the garage. This thing looks great after all of that. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for!
Color: Black
I've tried 2 rings and 4 watches. This Garmin watch is not cheap, but you get what you pay for: The watch is solid and durable. It feels like it should last several years. The app (Connect) is fantastic. Huge detail, analysis, reminders, and recommendations. Most importantly, all the measurements are *correct*, especially the two meta numbers I care most about: fitness age and VO2max. If you are a runner, the Garmin ecosystem is optimized to analyze and suggest improvement routines. The maps are excellent. Overall, it's a premium watch and ownership experience, well worth it if you want correct data and plan to use it to improve. ... show more

  • Great switch from Apple Watch
Color: Purple
Switched from an Apple Watch after 10 years. Was ready for something more advanced for running and better battery life. Also wanted a larger display, and this checked all the boxes. I can still use Siri through the garmin, which was something I was worried about missing. Overall, it seems a bit pricey - but it’s a solid watch and I know it will last for years. ... show more

  • A M A Z I N G
Color: Purple
This watch is awesome for the things it is capable to do for a runner, such as myself. I've moved on from a Samsung Watch 5(Samsung fan), to this and I have not been disappointed! I'd say it is pretty pricy, and this is my first time ever owning such a watch. I had picked this(2nd best) over Garmin's Fenix 8 (Their top watch), due to me not really wanting to pay a little extra for the extra features such as the Solar Charging or Longer battery life, because I don't mind charging my watch ever so often and I am not outside THAT much for it to make a difference. At least 2 hours at most for my training. The watch will last me a long enough (~10 to 14days) without charging and I am happy with that versus me having to charge my Samsung watch like 1.5x a day which was getting annoying. The quality of the watch is amazing, the Glass is supposed to be stronger than the Gorilla kind and the material of the bezel makes it look so premium. The charging speed is also pretty good, I don't realize how fast it charges but I know it's quick (~1hr) from 0 to 100. The sensors it has seems pretty good and capable of tracking my daily results. It is keeping me in shape. Overall I recommend for the runners or just anyone who likes to keep track of things or a good, lasting watch! ... show more

  • Used, dirty, missing items, ripped box. Don't bother. Go direct through Garmin.

Received USED and it was absolutely FILTHY and was missing everything from the box. No thanks. Initiated return the moment I opened the box and saw the state of it. I'll go directly through Garmin.
