My now 1 year old son absolutely loves his plush chair. We actually had to take quite a bit of the stuffing out for him to sit in it while having a bit of back rest. We use a second pillow if he wants to sit up up with it. Fortunately the chair is one of the cheaper and most durable I've encountered on here just for the 'cover' portion. I do wish the shredded foam inside was a bit smaller since it can feel lumpy to someone who's used to smaller beads, but it's not nearly as bad as just the 'cover' chairs where you're supposed to fill them with your own stuffed animals which is oh so popular now. ... show more

These other reviewers must have awful beds. I was expecting to plop down and fall asleep. Nope that hasn’t happened yet, and it’s had about five days to puff up. No off-gassing so that’s a plus. The size M is perfect for my open bit awkward floor plan with a bean bag ottoman… The L would have been absurd. Mine is on a hardwood floor so it slides a bit when you plop down into it. Don’t have fragile things nearby. I have a jaxx outdoor bean bag chair on my porch and this thing is about as comfy… if sitting in it for awhile, I’ll find myself scooching downwards or more to a laid back position to try to find some neck support, and eventually my butt just ends up on the ground. And I’m not a big person lol. Maybe I just need to add a pillow to the thing. The filler material is so-so… I guess I like the beans in the jaxx chair better, and I like the foam of my various foam mattresses better. The cover is nice, good material and pretty dusty rose color. I put my good-natured cat atop it and he immediately took off running. He loves to steal my chairs, including the jaxx one outside. Got this item for Christmas for daughter. It expanded! the longer it was out of the box the bigger it got! She is rather small and I don’t foresee her growing out of it any time soon. The yellow is the golden ‘mustard’ color and the fabric is soft! Definitely a win!

Pretty sure this would be a great place to sit if the cats ever gave us the chance... The medium was the right size for a tween/teen/small adult. Probably too big for a small child. Even after several weeks (granted, mostly used by medium-sized cats, one at a time), it does not seem to have squished down, so I'm optimistic about the longevity. In fact, in the 2 times I've sat in it, sometimes I wish it squished just a little more, but my tween is super happy with it. Amazingly, the cover does not seem to pick up excessive amounts of cat hair! It's still soft and bright. We're really happy with this purchase--I was worried about a bean bag chair getting squished down, but I can tell that's not going to be a problem. And the price (around $70) was reasonable for what we got--and the fact that we won't have to restuff it, probably ever. ... show more

I was not expecting the size of this beanbag upon receiving it! It is massive. We enjoy it as an extra seating option. It is "fluff" inside and not beans which causes it to not have as much extra give. But it is still comfy and gets the job done!
