The quality is very good and feels nice. The adjustability of the chair is fine reaching the heights I need. The only thing I wish is it had slightly more cushion in the butt area, but that's minor. It's possible that this chair is simply a bargain, and that's the full story. But, I just got it assembled and briefly tested, so this is my first impression as to how it satisfies my criteria for being a "Big and Tall" office chair. First, some assembly comments. If you have the proper size hex key in the screw driver format, you'll find it more useful than the included one, especially if it's got a ball end. But the included one will likely be better than an "L" type or the ones that are part of a connected set. Second despite the info in the instructions, not all bolts are already on the unit, but most of them are. As a result, you'll need to guess which ones to use for attaching the back. And, there are extra bolts included which don't seem to have an application. Third, as others have mentioned attaching the back is the most challenging step. It's really best done as a two person job but if you use a ball driver, it's likely easier. The key thing is that there is a recess on the inside of the arm, and the "nut" on the back must fit into the recess to get it aligned. You can do this by feel but otherwise you'll be working blind. Now, to put the rest of this in perspective, I'm a "big'un". I'm 7' tall and weigh 400 pounds, so I put B&T chairs to the test. My first impression is that this one is petty good, with some conditions. 1. It IS big enough. The seat pan is wide enough and deep enough although there's nothing extra (but check the measurements for YOUR needs.) 2. The back is tall enough for some, but I could not realistically use it as a headrest, but then, I never can 3. The arms rotate up and out of the way, but they are on the short side. 4. This chair should have an extra long cylinder. The one that is included is literally just enough for me. An extra couple of inches would be better. But, at its maximum, my legs are at 90 degrees, which is not the case in standard chairs. 5. I don't see much effect of the lumbar adjustment, but I don't usually need that anyway. 6. The rocking adjustment seems to function, but I don't have a good sense of its range. I didn't spend a lot of time with it, but at the "stiffest" it still rocks pretty easily. I'll tend to keep it in the locked position, as I feel like my high center of gravity could make it tippy at the extreme. 7. The chair is a little wobbly, presumably because of the small diameter connection between the cylinder and the set bottom. Well see how well this element holds up. On balance, for the price, I think this chair is pretty good. It's clearly not the quality of a Bodybilt, for example, but that can not be expected. In my case, I'll use it 2-3 hours a day, so it should last a long time. If it does, I'll be satisfied

Cheap materials and poor craftsmanship. After less than six months of use, the fabric on the armrests is already cracking, the base/support is bent causing the chair to tilt, and the wheels no longer roll properly. I weigh 300 lbs, and this chair is advertised as rated for up to 450 lbs, which is clearly inaccurate. If you can afford it, buy an office chair elsewhere—especially if you’re a bigger guy. I haven’t found any truly viable heavy-duty options on Amazon.

it was ezpease to put together. i am 5'11 an its sitting all the way down. so my feet can be flat on the floor. im a big guy it handles my weight just fine. i have a friend who is 6'7 he tryed out my chair an he said that he was buying one . the 3rd of nov.

Assembly is overly difficult. One screw either cross threaded or the entry was wrong size. Either way, it snapped the screw halfway through. It is very comfortable. The reason for purchase was for overweight user. The support is there for their size. The vendor was very quick to respond and offer a solution, it was not the best option, but I needed the chair right away. After contacting the vendor recommended screwing "80%" of all four screws before screwing them in all the way. The screws sent are very soft metal, extracting the broken screw was a process that took way too long. After that, I checked that the threads were not damaged by screwing into the hole without the arm rest. Then I attempted to do the 80% method they described. The screw went in at an angle. After I removed the screw, the thread was completely damaged. This means that the holes are not aligned, but are enough to get the screw in. So I took yet another extra screw they sent and forced the screw in. At least the screw is entirely seated and it should hold. TL;DR

I'm a 315lb guy and wanted a decent chair for my size. Purchased chair 14 months ago and it is DONE. The piston that regulates height began to leak after 3 months and now it won't stay up at all. Arm rest has failed on one side and the chair now leans to the left. Not recommended.

The chair is super comfortable- we did have a slight problem with the lift cylinder but the company was very easy to work with. They sent us a new one and stayed in communication with us every couple of days giving us updates on shipping and tracking and making sure we got it installed. I am really happy with the customer service!
