I'm 6' 3" with a size 14 EEE shoe, and thick calves to boot. As a result, getting socks that are long/wide enough for the foot, and are both wide enough for your calves without constantly drooping down is tough to find. Dr. Scholls used to make 'Diabetic Socks' that were perfect; but, they disappeared from the market for a couple of years, and the ones currently offered are simply not the same. They are cut way smaller in length, and in both foot and calf width. I have a total 12 pairs of these socks right now: 6 black and 6 white. They are exactly the same in terms of manufacture, material, quality and fit. In every one of those categories, these socks are simply terrific. They give me just the right amount of 'wiggle room' in the toes, without being too long, and fit comfortably snug across my instep. The tops come up to a nice position on my calves, and comfortably hug them to stay put. At the end of the day, I do not have a red ring around my calf from the tourniquet-like elastic so many 'big man' socks use. Wearing them with sneakers, casual or dress shoes, these socks stay up, stay comfy and are the best I've had in at least 10 years.

Great thickness, not too heavy or too thin, compression is not over abundant, they are soft, and wash/dry great without shrinking. Size is awesome too, as my husband has a size 16 shoe/boot size and they are Well made.

Not really roomier than the run of the mill socks, pretty good quality but still uncomfortably tight across instep. Not as described. I wear a size 12 shoe, I can't imagine these would fit size 13 or 14 feet as claimed. Oh well, I'll just keep on looking for socks I don't have to stretch over a coffee can overnight before wearing.

I'll admit, I had low expectations, due to the low price. I'm happy to say that my expectations were exceeded. These socks are not only comfortable, but they don't side down. Bonus, they actually fit my size 15 foot. I definitely recommend.
