  • Not worth your time.
Blocks do not lock together. Kept popping apart. Made it impossible to finish bridge. Will not buy another set from this company,

  • Neat, but Hard to Make the Bridge
This was neat, but the bridge itself was very challenging to put together and make it stay. Part of the problem we realized was that, unlike Lego brands, this kind doesn't make the underneath of the pieces lock onto the top of the piece below it. And since the bridge is a lot of single pieces that need to stay on half of the piece below, it was hard because they kept sliding. Once we finally got it together, we haven't touched it even though the bridge isn't quite straight. My nephew is really good at building Lego sets no matter how complicated, but this was making him a bit frustrated. ... show more

  • Decent quality micro block (a.k.a TINY PIECES) set, probably not for beginners
This building block set consists of micro blocks (much smaller than regular Lego pieces) of average quality. The set is of the San Francisco skyline and some of its famous landmarks, featuring bright and vividly colored pieces that snap together with a moderate amount of looseness. There isn’t a crazy amount of detail in this set, which was a bit disappointing. It’s not the easiest to put together since not all of the pieces fit snugly and securely, and some areas break apart very easily due to lack of support. Because of how small these pieces are and how many there are, I wouldn’t recommend this set to children or beginners. It took quite a few hours to put this set together and I was a bit surprised at how large the finished set actually is. It is about averagely priced but still a decent value for money considering how expensive building brick sets are nowadays. It would make a pretty neat gift to San Francisco fans as well as those who enjoy more challenging building sets. ... show more

  • Slow going but fun
If you're used to The Name Brand bricks, then these mini bricks are a major learning curve. The instructions walk you through the entire length of the set at once, one layer at a time. It definitely requires you to go about it slowly and methodically. I recommend having either a bunch of small-medium boxes, or something large with several compartments, so that you can separate the mini bricks by color, to at least make it a little easier to find the pieces that you need. It does make for a nice display piece when you're done, though! ... show more

  • These are very tiny pieces, took me the better of 12 hours to complete..
These are very tiny pieces, took me the better of 12 hours to complete.. I dropped a couple and had to find them. The pieces get everywhere. They are very tiny and I would say maybe about 1/4 the size of Lego brand Lego if not smaller even close to 1/8. The only issue I really had with this and its the reason for the lowered rating is the bridge has the cables that go from the towers to the bridge, well those are very unstable. The pieces wouldn't stay together and when they did they would slide in eachother minimizing the distance I needed to make it work. The images I took are the best I could get. The only way I see to complete this is to super glue the bridge cables 1 at a time until they are all done and I can put it together. They are so tiny that any adjustment or assembly made either the bridge or the cabling fall apart. Fingers are too fat to really get in and under the bridge and its too weak to really work with. Other than the bridge cables the rest was fun, spent all night with quiet working on it. Finger sore today but it was fun and worth it for my weekend. Look forward to more, just maybe not this tiny very often.. ... show more

  • Misses the Mark
I'm not sure what the Bidiutoy was going for with this San Francisco Building Set, but I'm pretty sure that they missed the mark. As builder, you're basically just sorting by color and piling on block after block after block of green or gray or blue or brown or red. It's just a bunch of monochromatic piles of blah. There's nothing exciting going on here. Somehow even the bridge is boring and unattractive. Might be good for selling at a gift shop for people looking to bring home something from vacation. ... show more
