I insisted we get this when I learned that I needed a pretty significant back surgery. My husband said it was very easy to install - he had to install an outlet near the toilet, and he said if you have an outlet close already, it would be super easy to install. I love this thing and now that I am post surgery, I was so grateful to have this! It helped me maintain my independence while still recovering. It is very effective! It does what it is intended to with options to make you feel very pampered. Heated seat and control of the water temperature! Awesome! We don’t use all of the features, but they are there if we decide we need them. I don’t know how we lived without this!! I am very pleased with this purchased.

I would be super happy with this if I had not had a better one in the other room. The spray is not directly in the correct location, and the spray is weak, even on the highest setting compared to the other brand. It does have more features, like heated air dry that I have never used. The 1000 watt electric water heater lasts a long time, my other unit runs cool after about 1.5 minutes. I live in a cool area, and in the winter the incoming water is about 40F. So love the warm water with this larger capacity heater. Don't like the spray pattern at all. The seat is also a little short, would be better if more elongated. Toilet seats can be bought round or elongated. This one is a short elongated.

This product has issues. While the one we received worked in all functions, it did not 'clean' as required for personal hygiene. This may be an issue for older folks like us (>65; >80 years). Secondly, the seat was an issue for us. 1) The product reduces the seat area by almost 30%. An elongated toilet is thereby effectively a round bowl toilet. For a larger person, that's an issue. Then there's the shape of the seat: it's quite dished. It pushes up on the underside of the front of your legs. It want's to position you as far back as possible; but that's a cramped feeling. We both tested it carefully and tried not to be too critical; but finally decided to return it. The warm wash feels good; the drying is fairly effective, though not fully if the water travels forward...which it does. The "cleaning" was not adequate; so what's the point. If a tissue wipe still finds fecal matter, then it's not clean enough to prevent all the issues that come with leaving any of that on your bum.

First off, this thing is amazing. Quality is good enough, functionality is acceptable. It’s no high end bidet that you find for $500+ but for the money it’s a great deal. The beeper is loud AF, but not too bad once you get used to it. There’s another review that explains how to disable it. Issues: The heated seat is way too hot even on the lowest setting. Feels like it’s cooking your cheeks. If you live in a really cold area I bet it’s phenomenal. The underside of the seat has all these really small grooves where nasty can get stuck. Makes for difficult cleaning. The whole thing could use a rubber gasket to prevent sliding around the top. No matter how hard I tightened down the screws it still wants to slide a little bit front to back. I added a bit of silicone from one of those exercise bands that I had laying around and voila it’s not goin’ nowhere (slaps top of bidet) The remote cradle sucks, it has some magnets inside but they are really weak. I made the mistake of mounting it too close to my light switch and now it’s bumped off when reaching for the light. None of the little pesky things are enough to knock off more than 1 star. It’s just little nits that could use adjustment in later revisions. I hope the creators read these reviews because there’s lots of good fixes in these reviews. I might revise my review later. But for now it’s good enough.
