Description

After installing training wheels, it is important to perform periodic inspections from time to time.At least once every month, you should ensure that the bolt on the back axle in place is tight and secure. And the training wheel clearance from the ground must be the same on the both sides. This is to provide your child with the same level of balance when riding the bike.As you master how to install training wheels, it is imperative to conduct successive adjustments based on how your child is growing up. It is advisable to increase the ground clearance height so as to promote your kids skills in both riding and balancing. While doing the adjustment, you should do the following steps: Check if both wheels are well inflatedPut the bike on a clear and flat surfaceUnwind the nut on the rear axle and set the right ground clearance on both training wheelsFinish by tightening the axle wheels. As the child grows, you should increase the height between the training wheel and the ground. This should however be based on the kid’s skills in balancing and turning.Once you achieve the right height for each training wheel, you should use the wrench to fully tighten the bolt into place. Secure the wheels by putting the right amount of torque on the bolts. • Definitely worth buying!
Color: Blue Size: 20 IN
My daughter hasn't been able to ride her new 20' bike that she got for Christmas until now. We got these training wheels for her and it took a little bit to get them on. We had to put one training wheel forward on one side and the other training wheel back in order for them to fit on right and bolt them on good and they are doing great! She is riding her bike and loving how the wheels light up ... show more

  • 2nd Pair Purchased (Great Product!)
Color: Blue Size: 16 IN
These are great training wheels. Bought a pair for my son's 12" pedal bike and now these for my daughter's 16". They work great and are very sturdy. Easy to install and an excellent price! What more could you ask for?

  • Cheaply made. Unsafe.
Color: Blue Size: 20 IN
My son is a big 4 year old and got his new 20" bike for his birthday. The bike shop only had flimsy training wheels, so I ordered these because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. The support arms seemed vastly better than anything else I had come across, and the wheels have little embedded LEDs that light up when spun quickly. They seemed great. Then when I mounted the support arms to the rear fork of the bike, the little clips that keep the training wheel arms in place weren't long enough, so they badly scratched the paint on fork of the (new) bicycle. I worked around that limitation and managed to effectively mount the training wheels, and my son was off to the races. He loved them for a total of about 3 hours, until he wiped out due to the wheel coming apart and falling off! Make no mistake, I followed the directions when assembling these things. The entire kit came with one of each, for each side: a nut, bolt, washer, and wheel. There was only one washer (which I thought was odd.) And the instructions said to put that one washer behind the arm, under the lock-nut, and not on the outside of the wheel hub under the bolt. After the wheel completely fell apart, I thought about putting it back together and putting a few additional washers on the outside of the wheel hub to keep it all in place, but the bearing cases were bent, everything inside was a hot mess. I had to hammer the bolt out of the wheel hub. And the other side was in bad enough shape that it too would be falling apart soon. I'm really sorry, but this is a classic example of a great design with superior mounting arms, and one component (the wheel hub) was so cheaply made that it makes the product worthless beyond a few uses. Honestly, it probably shouldn't be sold. I would absolutely not recommend this product. Returned to Amazon, and requested a refund, not a replacement. ... show more

  • Ok to use with supervision
Color: Blue Size: 16 IN
These were easy to install. My child does not weigh much and a sharp turn causes tilting so be careful. If the child can ride the bike and is mostly going to be riding in a straight line or soft slow turning, these are fine. I had to catch my child as they made sharp turns. Do not use without supervising. One feature i was not expecting was they light up when spinning. ... show more

  • easy peasy in installation
Color: Blue Size: 14 IN
I like that this wheel seems like stronger than the Wallmart type of the training wheel. I am hoping this will last at least 1 year since I expect my son using the wheels for maybe 2 years. I also like the blue color that matches with his bicycle. I would recommend measuring the size before purchase since there are so many choices on the sizing. ... show more

  • Super quiet!!
Color: Blue Size: 16 IN
Love these, the specifically caught my eye because they looked like roller blades type wheels. And they are which makes them quiet!! No more trying to yell over those noisy plastic wheels. Safer for them because they can hear what's going on around them too. My daughter wasn't thrilled she had to have blue like her brother. Hopefully they will add more color choices. But super sturdy all around happy with them. ... show more

  • Noiseless, Daughter loves the colors
Color: Light Version Size: 12IN-20IN
I bought this product to replace some noisy training wheels I had in my daughter's bike, and it worked perfectly. My daughters loves the colors, and I found it very sturdy and what I liked the most is that you can barely hear it, it is almost noiseless, I actually hear the tires more than the training wheels, this is exactly what I wanted. ... show more

  • Great training wheels
Color: Blue Size: 14 IN
I ordered these after searching for training wheels for a 14 inch bike that was gifted to us. I like that they have more of a rubbery feel and seem to roll better than the plastic type training wheels. The light up feature is fun, too. They were easy to install and fit well on the bike! Update- after using these on several bike rides, I like them, just make sure you teach your child to take corners slowly with them, they haven’t bent or anything, but may not be as wide of a base as our other bikes Bell brand training wheels. I do think they’re helping her learn to balance quickly. ... show more
