    • Perfect "in between" Marker for Projects, Notes, Posters, & Detailed Art/Writing!
These markers were a great buy for my son's "Required School Supply" List that has tons of items that are "required", but are never used. The simplest way to describe these markers is that they work and write the same way a fine-point Sharpie works....but without the bleeding or the price-hike on "Sharpie Colors". These mark deeply and with strong saturation....but aren't QUITE as saturated as a Sharpie Color set. Since those sets are about triple the price (and unnecessary for school use which is *literally* just "marking things") these are the perfect "in-between" set. You wouldn't use them for coloring large things like a coloring book page....but they are perfectly acceptable to color portions of a Poster Board or School Project that requires solid and deep colors similar to Sharpie....but doesn't require permanent marking on actual cardboard or a similar item. If you were drawing up a sign to Protest something on Cardboard....these would be best as "detail" markers. But if you're using posterboard, thick construction paper, styrofoam designs, regular paper, or smaller projects and/or "markings" for school, work, or art....these are less hardcore (for lack of better word) than a pack of Sharpie Colors. They're the "medium-high" performance to Sharpie's "heavy-duty". And they're priced accordingly with a vibrant pack of colors that don't run dry, don't bleed, and write very smoothly as well as use for artistic detail or even Calligraphy. These were a great alternative to "kiddie" markers that dry up fast and cannot handle larger, older-kid's projects without the unnecessary cost and heavy-duty abilities of a Sharpie Set. These were a great find and BIC made them the perfect "in-between" set for kids and adults alike. I'm very pleased with the performance, price, and versatility of this set and will be definitely keeping them on my list for next year when the school asks me to buy a whole new set of markers all over again just in case kids use them *sigh*. I purchased this set as an add on item when purchasing other items. I was thrilled to try them. With the onset adult coloring books I thought this would be the perfect set of markers for such. Because the color is permanent I don't have to worry about fading or smudging. Also, Since I work in education, I enjoy artwork with some of my students, or at times supplying them with markers if they don't have any. Since the cost is relatively inexpensive it makes it easier for me to afford the markers for them. I am often rewarded with beautiful artwork or lovely hand made cards from the children. Nothing could be better. I am enjoying the markers and will continue to purchase sets of markers, colorful pens and pencils, especially when they are offered at reasonable prices or add on specials. This is a great set of markers with 12 bright and vibrant colors and they work well on a variety of surfaces. I can definitely recommend them and consider them a great value worth every penny of the asking price here. ... show more

    • Bright Beautiful Colors
I bought these Bic Mark it Color Collection Permanent Markers, to color in my new adult coloring book. The markers have such bright beautiful colors. These markers make my coloring just jump off the page. I love that they have very low scent some markers have such loud scent to them that I can't use them. The other ones gave me a headache and make me feel sick. Not so with Big brand markers, they are great for coloring in one sided coloring book. These markers do bleed through to the next page so you will have to put a few sheets of paper between the pages in your coloring book. I use a thick cardstock between my coloring pages. Also you don't have to color up to the line because of the bleeding of these markers. I do love the bright, bold, beautiful colors of these markers, I think you will too. These Bic Mark-it markers are great. Nice bold colors, except the yellow is a little weak. There are twelve different colors that are different shades of colors from different brands. For example, the same color cap top in Fiskars Markers and the Mark-it marker are slightly different shades. This makes for really nice monochromatic coloring book pictures. These Mark-it’s are considered a fine tip marker, but they are not for small space coloring. Ultra fine tip is needed for that. These will bleed through pages but putting a piece of copy paper underneath negates that problem. I have had these for weeks and used every color. They all work great with strong color flowing out. I’d say they would stack up well to most popular brands of markers. A nice set. ... show more

Used these for use on glossy note cards. Wrote well, good colors but filling in large areas (such as a 1x1 inch square) was not smooth and it took a while for the ink to come in... If you color too quickly it just feels dried out, even when brand new. But writing in general was fine

My new favorite markers! The colors of these markers are gorgeous and vibrant. I also love the fact that they have no odor and the color dries quickly when used on paper. They are great for any project but I bought them for my adult coloring books. Although they work great for coloring I advise using cardstock underneath or between pages as they do bleed through a bit. The caps stay on nice and tight to prevent them from drying out. These are really markers and they last quite a long time. These were delivered quickly and nicely packaged. I highly recommend buying these for your art needs! ... show more

Love this product. I use these for writing as well as my adult coloring to help with anxiety issues I have. These have worked better than other markers I have used and I didn't pay as much for these. I would definitely buy these again and recommend this product to any of my friends and family to use. Everything had better color quality from these markers which is a plus for me. ... show more
