    • Looks great, poorly made...
Several metal plates have fallen off since purchase. 2 plates were off when received. Good quality gloves along the inner part of the gauntlet. I've repaired the gauntlets myself twice now, but for the price, that shouldn't be required.

I thought this product LOOKS and FEELS really bad-ass and realistic - although it would probably come apart if struck by an actual steel broadsword, but still very high quality and projects the illusion of authenticity

    • Gauntlets not as pictured
Gauntlets are not painted black, arrived covered in oil (assuming to avoid rusting). Finger plating is not pointed nor curved to fingers but rather just flat plates rounded at the ends. The rivets that secure the plating to the glove poke through into your fingers, and due to the non existent curvature, dig into your fingers and knuckles even with a secondary pair of gloves underneath. ... show more

Pretty disappointing. I knew for the price they wouldn't exactly be masterwork quality, but they're not even the same size. The right gauntlet was borderline acceptable (though not what I expected based on the pictures), albeit inflexible and sloppily painted. The left gauntlet was assembled crooked, the lobstered plates don't flex at all, and there's a torn seam where the crooked construction didn't line up with the glove. Even had they been assembled "correctly", the knuckle plates are riveted on the wrong end so they open out, meaning you're still wide open to knuckle injury. Don't waste your money. ... show more
