I accidentally "borrowed" one of these pens from someone and still have it. I immediately fell in love with the easy flow of ink and smooth writing across all types of paper, cards, etc. So I come to good ole Amazon to find them and purchase my own. This was a good deal for 12 quality pens. I'm tossing out other pens right and left now. Nothing else seems to work as well as this pen. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is slightly obsessed with a good writing pen! *I also tried these in an Adult Coloring book for outlining and they work great for that type project. I wish there were more colors to choose from. However, I will be purchasing the other colors available in this pen. Smooth, Dependable, and Comfortable Everyday Writer These BIC Gelocity Original gel pens have quickly become my go-to for daily note-taking and documentation. The ink flow is smooth and consistent, with a rich, dark black line that looks crisp even on standard office paper. The 0.7mm tip strikes the right balance—not too fine, not too bold—and it glides effortlessly without needing much pressure. The retractable design and comfortable rubberized grip make them ideal for long writing sessions. I’ve used them for signing paperwork, journaling, and filling out medical notes, and they’ve held up well without smearing or leaking. They’re also reliable straight out of the box—no priming or shaking needed, which is more than I can say for some gel pens in this price range. I love this pen. Writing hurts my hand, yet this is super comfortable. The ink resists water being oil based rather than the new trend towards water based inks from rollerballs. My favorite feature is the rounded clip doesn't dig in to the web between one's index finger and thumb while writing. With other pens, I have to spin it around to make sure the clip doesn't dig in to my hand while writing. The rubberized tip is just right to prevent slipping. Most of them are too fat or too creative in their shape. I can grab this pen from any angle and just start writing comfortably. The retractable feature protects the ball and keeps it from accidental writing and stains. I have purchased Monte Blancs and even a $265 Cartier pen, but this Bic is by far my favorite every day pen. ... show more
